    I pictured an old-fashioned setting in a park with a lady talking to a man by the bench early in the moorning, maybe people walking around blurred in the background, then a carriage comes in, and the driver puts the man's luggage into the back of carriage.

    Thank you, Olof, for this very interesting video about BTS and also for sharing your tips and tricks. As a beginner, I would like to know why create a decor in digital painting and then make a 3D projection on Cinema 4D, instead of doing a 3D blocking directly and drawing over it, or simply leaving the 3D blocking in the background?
    Secondly, if you were to start over at the beginning of your career, how would you organize your learning of drawing and 3D? Mostly observational drawing or 3D?
    Thank you very much. As a beginner, I don't know if these questions are relevant, but it piques my curiosity.

    Awesome work as usual Olof, you keep inspiring me. I pictured a spaceport with people coming to board a spaceship and the futuristic voice being the PA voice. the creature walking would not necessarily be a horse but a hybrid creature....... Great work sir.

    Amazing works! A fellow animator here. I love how you mix 2d and 3d element into your scene which I think made the process more efficient.
    If you don't mind sharing, how long does it take for your to finish from scrapping ideas, to sketch and to final product?
    Keep up the good work.

      Animation is all about self learning. There are a lot of free materials out there to get you started like free pdf books. You can also start by practicing the 12 principles

    • @MustafaO.Artisan
      @MustafaO.Artisan 2 місяці тому +3

      @@Advancedrookie People learn differently and at the start it can bit to much for anyone who's new at it, having some kind of a mentor or instructor can help to easy into it. At some point yes, you have to learn by yourself but that's more of down the line. Of course, everyone is different, and there are always exceptions.

    • @MustafaO.Artisan
      @MustafaO.Artisan 2 місяці тому +1

      For learning 2D animation, there is the book The Animator's Survival Kit, Aaron Blaise's website "Creature Art Teacher," and Marco Bucci on UA-cam. His videos are very educational and well done. Of course, there are many other resources, and we all learn differently. If you are more of an in-person learner, I would recommend looking up possible workshops near you or classes at your local community college. If not, Zoom classes or similar options are usually the closest thing you'll get to in-person learning if you're living somewhere far in the countryside.

      P.S. keep in mind that this is life learning process, so don't try to rush through it, and personally I think project based learning is great way to go about it.
