The Who perform 'A Quick One' live at the Royal Albert Hall in support of Teenage Cancer Trust.
#TheWho #RoyalAlbertHall #AQuickOne
No version will EVER top the RSRRC of Dec. 11, 1968, but it's great to see they pulled this one out of the vault, dusted off a few cobwebs and strange, and gave it another run.
Yes you are the greatest Rock and Band ever
The Who blew The Stones right off the stage during their Circus show (if the footage is anything to go by). Possibly one of the most exciting Who performances ever in my opinion.
Andy Cooper, I was gonna say that! The Who were Sooooo Fuckin Good that Jagger was Gutted that (Coz The Stones hadn't toured for a few years n were Rusty! Check out Jumpin jack flash No Energy/Lacklustre etc! But Sympathy For The Devil Is Amazing) he Banned the release until the 90's lol 😆 🤣 The Ego Wow! Oh Taj Mahal n The Dirty Mac (which consisted of Lennon Clapton Mitchell n Keef) doing Yer Blues! Cheers I've gone off on One lol
あのフーはベストだった。最後の歓声と拍手が全てを物語っていた
@@eddysandland58 To be fair though, it was nearly 5am by the time they got to the Stones' set -hours behind schedule. And you have to give the Stones credit for inviting the Who and The Dirty Mac to play in the show - risky putting yourself up against The Who almost in their prime, famous for slaying audiences, and then a band made up of pieces of Cream, The Experience, The Beatles and The Stones. Actually, come to think of it, it would have been nice to hear Entwistle on the bass with Dirty Mac [and with Mitch Mitchell]. Keith was good on bass, but...
The Greatest live performance PERIOD! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes indeed RIP Keith Moon There is No Substitute! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💋💋💋💋💋💋
I miss John Entwistle's high pitch on this song.
100%. This song shouldn't be done without The Ox and Keith.
The best rock band of all time. i lucky enough to see them back in the day when Keith moon was still with us. We'll never see the likes of these guys,, Thin Lizzy, Free Led Zeppelin, ever again. i'm an old man now, but grew up listening to a great generation of classic rock bands.
My favorite Who song
From Who?
Zack has been the best fit for drumming in The Who since Keith Moon. This is a fantastic song. YOU MUST see this in Rock and Roll Circus for the best deep cut ever.
The original at the RaRC is my favourite musical performance on UA-cam, Watch it a couple of times a week as it gives me a buzz.
It’s a tribute the awesomeness of Keith Moon that a performance this good still pales in comparison to the R&RC performance. Good as this is, it just doesn’t have that explosive energy of The Who in their prime. Moon and Entwistle are irreplaceable.
It’s also a tribute to the awesomeness of Roger and Pete that after losing two irreplaceable band mates, they still make great music.
This was the 2nd album I ever bought - a quick one - always liked that song ( and the rest - Boris the Spider etc 😅 )
Golly, Simon Phillips did a helluva job when he toured with the Who.
Hah, always love watching when Townshend is trying to get Daltrey to remember the lyrics
I've watched the Circus version, and it was fantastic. Their timing is still impeccable. Amazing.
Fantastic live Act....10 times ive witnessed greatness.
Che band straordinaria la mia band....
The Rock and Roll Circus version of this song is about my favorite!
Without a shadow of a doubt, they still nail it!
This is dope they’re still going
They actually did the second verse of Ivor here!!
They're were in excellent shape.... But the soul and the spirit of The Who, were Keith and John....
Keith Moon was amazing on the original
No he was an animal!!🌚
Keith WAS The Who in so many ways....
Oh, yes!!!
Agreed, his fills and intensity were amazing on the R&R Circus.😇🥁
he had water coming out of the drum kit
This has always been my favorite Who song.
If I would be able to be in London. I would love to stay in concert 🎶 of the who. One of the best bands and concerts I have ever seen. Germany 2016 in Oberhausen ❤
I love this song, the Rolling Stones R&R Circus was the most insane performance I've ever seen. That song is still spinning around space to this day.
Yes, Legendary.
Awesome! So good to hear them doing this great tune!
Wao,,,Zack played fantastically. The Who did nail it after so many years and without Moon and Entwistle, Well done. The Who should play more rarities like this. Maybe "Relax" pr "Going Mobile".
The boys do a great job on this and have aged nicely. As you can read below, anyone who enjoyed this the "Rock N Roll Circus" version is a must. Impeccable energy and talent that will never be topped.
What an amazing tune
good job on this one, kids!
Funny when it hits that section of “you are forgiven “ the Ox’s high notes are missed and you can see it in Pete’s face .
It always makes me happy to see that there are other people out there, thinking the same exact thing as me
ESP on the fa la la la’s after we have a remedy. Those high notes really boosted the song
I know they’re older here. Not as rowdy as years ago. But
If want to really watch this song. Pull up a quick one Rolling Stones rock n roll circus back in “68” it’s probably the greatest live performance ever.
While the '68 version is probably my favorite live performance of all time, I'm glad that, for Pete and Roger at least, they didn't die before they got old. I enjoyed this.
Legendary!
Wow !
Smashing ♥️🎸
Love this song! First time I heard it was in The Kids Are Alright film.
Still going strong ,and do love the Two from the WHO yes
So good !
Absolutely brilliant!
8:59 I love when the genius song-writer forgets his own lyrics.
His own lyrics from more than 50 years ago...
I think that was more of an improve rather then forgetting
Ele está perdoado pelo esquecimento!
This video gives the chance to donate to the teen cancer cause!
Like it when his reaction to yoko name . Hahaha. Like the rest if us
Still great
Lendas!!!!!!!
not bad for a band that exceeded its shelf life by about 55 years
What i like is that they dress theur age. English country gentlemen. Have you seen what the 80s bands wear? Its embarrassing.
They never had a shelf life....the fuck you mean green?
Jesus they're old, and for their age they're as good as can be, problem is their music epitomized youthful energy.
I'm glad that Pete and Roger didn't "die before they got old"!
When Keith died in 78 I thought the Who should have disbanded. I never forgave them for remaining together until Zak took over on drums. Still, Pete, John and Roger should have taken a year off. I didn't consider The Who as The Who without Keith. I still feel like something is missing. But that's life. We lose what we love.
Великолепное(выдержанное вино!))) Браво! Форева!!!!
Шикарный ударник!!!!!!!
Holy shit comparing this to R n R Circus pretty AWESOME! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹🌹🌹RIP Keith Moon There is No Substitute. 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Who heven😅
It's great tune and a rather impressive performance considering their vocals clearly arent once what they were obviously the age factor.. Honestly I saw the in Philly at The Bank maybe 4 years ago and they rocked, They still got it.

Hope I die before I get old!👍🙏❤️😄
I mean this drummer just has no energy at all ....he zaps all the life out of the ooo😂
BUMP OF CHICKEN
The Who is a great band and Roger Daltrey’s voice is amazing but I really don’t like this song. I can’t listen to it all the way through.
sad, without the original drummer , it has no teeth
Good try.
"Woo, Pete! Trust me, no one remembers you got caught paying for child porn. It's not like you're a registered sex offender or anything. If you're rich and popular, you can get away with anything apparently.
Read the facts and watch the TV documentary before making a false accusations
He was proven innocent
How Kenny Jones lasted so long with The Who I’ve no idea. Is this Zac on drums? Whoever it is he’s a lot better than KJ!
