I am switching to EVs this year, but this truck is on my list of a must-have. I want it as my backup vehicle in case we lose power during a hurricane for days on end. Its range will keep me on the go during such an emergency.

You are being a schill. The ICE engine can only put out about 2/3 of what the EV motor uses. On a trip to the lake in the Mountains you will deplete the batteries and be stuck limping along at about 30. The problems of both, the expenses of both, the complexity of both and Stellantis isn't known for working the bugs out.
Not necessarily the battery is maintained at full charge!! So that 90kw available for motors to use that 70kw usable in gas equivalent that is 7 gallons of fuel going up the mountain yo use plus charges at 13.5 gallons per hour! So unless you towing 70k lbs youll be able to go up the hymilayas without stoping remember the battery gets used first! Worst miledge ive seen is 4mpg towing 14k lbs on an ecobost 3.5l engine! If you 28miles up hill than thats 7gallons used in 30 min at 56mph!! Charging at 13.5 gallons per hour! Once at top you go downhill regen break dont burn breaks! And get your fuel back! Plus you rest your motors! And gives genetator time to catch up there is no place in the world that has anything further than 30 mile climb!! The number match up! Time to see real world test results!! Vehicle gets 20mpg most 3.5l trucks get 20mpg at 2.1miles per kw! Thats 10kw per gallon!
