It really is sad that Angella's gone, but the fact that Catra was pretty much the reason she got trapped and she didn't even know about it hurts. Catra never met Angella and I can totally imagine her in Bright Moon asking who this painting/statue/glass pane of a 'random' winged person is, I mean Glimmer has to have a thing dedicated to her like that ice statue in 'The Coronation'. Man if we get a She-Ra Movie I totally hope it's full of shipping and getting Angella back, but it's gonna be filled with guilt and angst at times since Catra would have learned she kind of killed someone, not to mention her friends mom. 😬 Sorry I turned this into an essay, I still love Catra but girl you need those therapy sessions with Perfuma and help everyone in any way you can for awhile, since you had no time to do any of that during the short war with Horde Prime. This is what I think happened after season 5.
I agree with everything you said above. It's a shame this wasn't brought up when Glimmer and Catra were on Horde Prime's ship together and Catra having the realisation of what happened and that it would have been Adora if Angela hadn't taken her place. Glimmer could have mentioned how she had blamed Adora for her mother's death/entrapment and now she regrets it, Catra could have said "what do you mean?" and the scene just writes itself from there onwards.
@@GemR38 If we were to get that moment, I think it should come some time _after_ Corridors since Catra apologizing to anyone before Adora would feel off. Even though she had pity for Glimmer and ended up saving her, Catra did say that protecting Adora is what motivated her choice.
@@NRobbi42 I think that's what Noelle had in mind too. It needed to be clear that Catra's motivation was protecting Adora so I reckon that's why Glimmer and Catra didn't discuss Angela in the show. If another season or a movie is made (please I want it so bad!), then it might be bought up then. :-)

People always seem to forget that Angella died because of Catra’s actions. Catra never sought reconciliation for this and I think it proves to be one of the few but notable weak points for the show
For all the people who are baffled why specifically Americans I find it funny. I think as an American, it’s not the pronunciation, but the motherly tone. The way she lectures Glimmer or yells for her to come to her like a mother (well I mean she is her mother). It can also be odd just bc the rest of the characters don’t say it like that.
