2006-2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.4L Exhaust Manifold Catalytic Converter

What's up, Team! Changing the Exhaust Manifold Catalytic Converter on my 2006 Eclipse. The process is pretty straight forward. Take your time and make sure not to cross thread the bults or nuts. Follow along with the video and you'll do great! Bellow is a link on where I got my Exhaust Manifold Catalytic Converter, make sure to get the gaskets as well. You never want to use the old gaskets if it can be avoided.

What size Studs i need to get i need to replace them please help me. i'm havin a hard time

The studs should be the standard size which I can’t remember off the top of my head but you should be able to get them a the dealership

why you replaced it ? the manifold on mine it gets cherry hot only in two tubes im wondering if my catalytic is plugged or something

@@ResEvilJr mine were clogged and throwing a code. It shouldn’t he getting cherry hot. Have you modified the engine at all

Did you have a tapping ticking noise before the repair?

No, the motor sounded sounded the same as it did the day I got her.

You might need to change your timing belt if it is rhythm with your rpm but not the same amount of rpm (makes 1 tick noise for every 4 revolutions example)
