Trump is going after pharmaceutical companies to lower drug prices. I watched a senate hearing on this very issue. So I think it's unfair to blame him since he's actually trying to address this...Obama did zero and we had skyrocketing drug prices for years. Anyway I feel sorry you've gone thru this. I know this video is old but I hope things are better. I'm waiting to be approved for Humira to tackle 2 autoimmune diseases after being on Embrel.
They don't care....you're right. We're the only nation in the developed world that people don't get the medications they need and that are appropriate for their conditions.
Have you researched the PAP ( Prescription Assistance Program) ? My father is on Humira and gets it free from them. God bless you and I send you a hugs and prayers
Thank you for the suggestion! Yes, I have. I have looked into it. But I got some help contacting my insurance and they are actually reviewing my case. SO fingers crossed that they approve all my meds for coverage again and I can start taking Humira again with no adverse effects!!

Im in the same boat Shelby, Trying to get Humira's Patience Assistance Fund to help right now. I'm afraid they won't help because my wife is making to much as a nurse. SUCKS, I'll probably have to go back on Steroids which have caused a lot of damage already over the last 5 years. Humira is way to expensive! I don't know what to do either if my Humira is canceled.
I'm insured with Molina, they pay 2k a month but I don't know how long they will pay that amount. I think they have a 9k max. It won't last long.
Oh no. That's not going to last at all. It's so hard to make the decision between money and your health. I wouldn't go back on steroids if someone paid me.
Try diet, I know that's rich coming from me, but it may mitigate some symptoms. It'll take a while to find what works for you though, and that's a definite drawback..
