Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. Cybex Coya is the only travel stroller suitable for newborns, the others start at 6 months. Are there any other options out of the box I could travel with my 3-month old?
I really wanted to like it. I love the emphasis with this model and the new Balios on putting a bit more thought into building more durably - I just feel the design isn't quite there, especially when they want to charge more than the Yoyo / Butterfly / Aer+ / Minu V2. :)
Dear Parents/Carers As soon as I saw the leg rest, it was fast no for me (Nevermind the rest of the faults of this over priced stroller). As a nanny of 9 years I've used my fair share of strollers and that kind of leg rest, NEVER lasts long. I'd expect to find that type of leg rest on a cheap model like an umbrella stroller. The reasons I hate these types of leg rests are: -They are fiddley -They break easily -They are cheap -They stretch the fabric of the seats -and they just look sloppy. Just my 2 cents.
And as a fellow nanny I second this⬆. All of this! Why in the world manufacturers with good reputations (but bad products among their selection) don't ask people like us for advice or inspiration, I will never know... These kinda leg rests are a joke and they are uncomfortable for any child older than a year or so. Imagine sitting in a recliner that is supposed to be your most comfortable resting place, but the leg rest is unstable and fragile and ends somewhere at the knee pit. Ouch! Everyone would return it and buy a more comfortable, well designed recliner instead, but people make their way-too-old-for-the-seat-size kids sit in those subpar strollers for way too long and worst of all, they are even willing to pay a fortune for them!
The leg rest is laughably tiny but I don’t see any other immediate problems with it. The cart just arrived and my 20-month old looked very cosy as she kind of snugged up into an optimal position. The backrest also goes up to way more upright than what it sounds like on this video - is it possible the adjustment mechanism somehow gets stuck on the Stroller Workshop’s unit? In fact, Coya’s extreme upright is wayyyy more upright than that of our Britax Go Big’s, that one is reclined no matter what. The judgment on the mechanics does not fill me with confidence, however, especially the part about how the front wheels are gonna get wobbly by (lack of) design. Should I return the Coya and grab a Joolz Aer+ instead? Would have to buy blind and the issue is of considerable urgency as we’ll be travelling this coming Saturday.
@Naddiemnida Absolutely! It's excellent! I'd also recommend the Bugaboo butterfly and the UppaBaby minu (note that the minu, does not meet cabin luggage guidelines, but it's a fantastic stroller)
@Drewan Störe I'd personally return it, especially for the high cost that you spent. Yes I'd "swap" it for the Goolz in a heartbeat! I'd also consider the babyzen yoyo, the upper baby minu or the bugaboo butterfly.

I bought Leclerc because of your review. Even better in person. Thank you!
I'd love for you to review the Cybex beezy!
Do you have a review of the new leclerc influencer XL on your patreon?
Can you do a full review of the new Jooz aer+? Looks good but the price is 😳 xx

Oh wow!! I was almost ready to switch from Yoyo to this one but the 45 angle seat is a nono!!!
Does the Yoyo have a better angle ?
Same angle

Would you recommend the babyzen yoyo?
