I love his sound so much. I've never heard anything quite like it. So bell like, and so much physical strength in order to produce a delicate sound. His fluidity, harmonic sensibility...dude is on another planet.

Im sure the experience of seeing Lage perform live on this was an even more overwhelming experience. Also a great humour on his spiels such a contrast from the explorative music compositions he performs. Great artist!
Who knew l’âge Lund was a comedian,,,that beautiful Schottmueller guitar , I would love to own one but it belongs in the hands of someone like mr Lund who can really do it justice

If this was an album, "Revenge of the Cymbals" would be an apt title. An affirmative action by Mr Jorgensen... All jokes aside, this sounds really good/different/crystal clear. I feel like I can just sit and transcribe everything Lage played. So, in a sense, it is also deceptive.
Lage Lund is a Genius
You're right
His playing's amazing
Lage Lund takes the Jim Hall-Pat Metheny-Kurt Rosenwinkel school of harmonic sophistication and nuance and raises the bar to a new level.
@Q F You are boring
@Q F “Of the younger cats, Lage is THE one. He’s a wonderful player. Scary actually!” - Kurt Rosenwinkel
I also can hear Monk influence.
My new favorite guitarist. Very unique. A sculptor of notes.

Have you checked out Romain Pilon?

Im glad there are 50 ads on this vid, really makes me feel like I’m there
That's no fun. UA-cam likes to place them in the wrong spots. We have removed some and placed the others in better breaks.
@@knkx oh that’s great to hear! Thanks for the upload, great show

Stefan Schottmueller your guitar is very nice. Seems to be a perfect jazz guitar. :-)
the melodic development/structure is so well thought out and deliberate, absolutely beautiful

World class jumping around 'rumspringa' in music: WONDERFULLY FANTASTIC !!
Beautiful! I am glad I got a chance to get some lessons from him when I was studying for my BFA in New York City, NY
Love this guy.
beautiful guitar
Beautiful and inspired music, thank you
Thanks for watching!
Great sound quality, I guess they had really good audio technicians and so forth
Wonderful touch and feel, have you noticed he doesn't look at his guitar?
14:18 anyone know which pedal he uses to get those crazy delays?
Alhamdulillah for another amazing record of this trio, thanks guys!!!
Sweet sounds!
Beautiful !
What's with the sound of the drums?
brilliant and genuine
That drummer might be good in my Quartett ;) By the way: Lage is such a funny, entertainig guy!
Hes recording me with his phone in his pocket.
Does someone know how he makes all those amazing effects in the intro for “Ernies theme”? It sounds like delay with reverse and expression pedal.

Lage Lund and Angelins Jordan, two Norwegians, in a duet of jazz and more. That's a good idea!
Lage Lean
1:33 an old man sleeping
Unfortunately unlistenable because of how the drums have been reproduced on this recording...
The drummer's ride cymbal is way too prominent in the mix(at least on the first song) ... a little annoying !
Drums are way too loud in the mix......The sound man must have a man crush on the drummer.....
The drummer himself mixed this concert.
