Yea I the the current indirect rules are bad. Imagine if he brought three of those things. We are working on a list of improvements that I’ll create a video for!
@@NexusWargaming I think my biggest complaint on AoF/GF is that attack in general seems undercosted and that the game seems built around a 4th turn table. I’d really like things to have a bit more staying power and to have a 5th turn that would still have meaningful moves. So far a good half of our games, more so in GF than AoF, end with a near tabling by turn 3 and it just feels too fast. That and they really need to get the new spell system out. Currently spells are too swingy for my group and out right absurd with some armies at skirmish level.
@@ironknight132 I definitely agree that the OPR point system needs some work. It favors glass cannon units. I’ve heard they will be addressing some of these issues in the new edition. We will see!
@@ironknight132 Go back to AoS or Old Hammer or whatever 6 hour slog fest you would prefer... no one forcing you to play AoFR... if it's not to your liking play something else. I actually enjoy a game that's over in 2 hours so i can play it more than once in an afternoon. Acknowledge that your mileage may vary
@@18foxtrot7 Bro, if you know the rules and are focused on playing the game, most OPR games at 2k last an hour, asking for just a little more time to maneuver and meaningful gameplay decision points isn't much. If OPR games are taking you 2 hours of actual play time... oof.
KoW and AoF need spotter rules for engineer heroes, so indirect can still require LOS but isn't so restricted its meaningless.
