The kjv is simply not the most accurate English translation... NASB is word for word more accurate. The kjv doesn't even translate the word "murder" correctly.... it's translated to "kill" which isn't true
I have a KJV which I love, I also have the Jewish Bible which I love, and I have a NKJV, which I read when I'm doing a study because it's the same language which I speak! Hallelujah
True, but also, it was the first GOOD complete english Bible. Tyndale didn’t get to finish his translation before his death, the KJV committee picked up where he left off and completed it. The KJV is about 85% Tyndale’s work.
KJV only for me, and I have my reasons. I too, once had all the excuses in the world pertaining to why I read other translation and not KJV only until I start comparing the KJV with other translations and start noticing the major intentional errors in those new translations. Thank you Holy Spirit
Error in the KJV as well “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.” Acts 5:30 KJV This read cross 5 years ago now it says tree. I compare version I read the Hebrew version as well I prefer to read the Hebrew version I believe it’s more closer to the word of God. Besides the KJV is revise copy it says so itself but to each it’s own. What I do know for sure is we have to turn from disobedience to obedience. And Love God with our whole being, once we do that He will direct our path Via the Holy Spirit.
Amen! Same thing happened to me. As of June 2022, I threw out the counterfeit bibles and hold fast to the King James Bible. The pure, preserved words of God
The masoretic texts were written by Jewish Rabbis. Well after Christianity had become popular, and they were going off of memory because the original Hebrew bible was gone. There is huge incentive for bias, and room for error there. The Septuagint was many separate jewish from different tribes. All writing the same thing in their translation into greek, written well before Jesus’ birth And Jesus quoted it. Of course it was so good at proving Jesus was the messiah that jews started to corrupt that as well so the LXX we have today is not the exact same as it was when Jesus was quoting. So clearly there can be translation issues for everyone it doesn’t void the bible. Im not anti KJV but to put it as that exceptional over other bibles seems slightly arrogant. Seems like most KJV only hardos go to 2-3 other translations and go “LOOK SEE THIS IS SATAN im only kjv” but fail to realize there are at least a hundred english translations. Also the KJV is in early modern english which you are not a native speaker of. You are LIKELY a native speaker of modern english unless u aren’t from USA. Now what I need you to answer is, When someone in England was mad that he was not supposed to kill and divorce his wives he started a church of england. And a later king of that same sect soon after chose 50 scholars to translate the new bible version that you say is the best. Again.. im not anti kjv. But what on earth makes that version more reliable than, say.. NET. The translation and over 61,000 translation notes that come with it were undertaken by more than twenty biblical scholars who worked directly from the best currently available Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. The NET Bible project was commissioned to create a faithful Bible translation that could be placed on the Internet, downloaded for free, and used around the world for ministry. More recent, more resources available, more understandable in modern english. Especially for millennials or younger who are probably in dire need for salvation and education could mean they dont understand early modern english at all.
@@LivingMyBestAlwaysno proof of that, it has read tree as long as I can remember. There are modern publishers of King James Bibles who have been changing words here and there.

Yeah. I'm a translator by the way. What matters is that the message is not compromised. " I am the way ,the truth and the life , no man cometh unto the Father by me". I am the way , and the Truth , and the life . Nobody comes to the Father except through me." Same message.
The Only thing that really matters in my heart is that I must know The Author of The Word Amen His Beautiful Precious PraiseWorthy Name Is Jesus 🙌🙌🙌😁🙂😃💯
You obviously haven’t listened to the one you claim to adore, he told you study his word (if you have a KJV), he told you he magnified his word above all his name, he told you if you didn’t keep his words you couldn’t get a prayer answered, he told you if you don’t keep his words you can’t love him.
Came to Christianity the start of 2024 and I was asking my self is there a version that’s most true. Never really found the answer until now so thank you 🙏🏼. Currently reading an ESV study bible. I’ll read a different version after this and start looking into some study material to actually learn about my faith even more.
KJV is revise copies it’s not original. We do not have the original manuscript in our English scriptures.. but to each it’s own. What I do know for sure, we have to turn from disobedience to obedience, and love The Most High Divine with every fiber of our Being. This is what really mattered. We will be judged by the way we live our lives. Not what version of the Bible we read. We should already know how to live a pleasing life to the Father no matter what version we read. It’s that simple.
I've got kjv and Holman so I can reference If i don't understand what kjv is saying. Now I've been hearing that kjv hasn't been changed like the amplified versions so that's why some are hardliners on that issue . But amen lets cherish Gods message
When we don't understand what KJV is saying God does not tell us to go find a much easier Bible inorder for us to understand, instead, He tells us to "study to shew thyself approved unto God" in 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV; but the NIV says; "do your best," and the NLT says "work hard," and to me switching the word from "Study" to "do your best", or, "work hard", is intentional by the enemy, and changes the entire narrative of the verse. Satan and his Demons are crafty. The Holy spirit will help us to understand. Study - to apply the mind to; to read and examine for the purpose of understanding Work hard (NLT) Do your best (NIV) STUDY (KJV)

The king james version does not include “(thus he declared all foods clean)”. So it leaves room for people like young don reborn to believe that they are still obligated to follow the old dietary laws. if you look at all the manuscript evidence however. A majority text would include “thus he declared all foods clean”. Any bible can have debate-able translations or lack thereof the KJV is not exceptional in that case.

Gail Riplinger does a poor job or accurately representing the people she quotes. If you actually pick up the books of the people she is quoting you will find that is taking every one of them out of context to present her agenda. This level of argumentation is dishonest and nothing less that lying.
There are so many verses that its clear to see that they altered God's word. Here are some examples... 1 Timothy 3:16 they changes the name "God" for "He". Micah 5:2 in the KJV, talking about Jesus, the last part of that verse says "whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." But in the NIV says "whose origins are from old, from ancient times." So when reading that verse in the niv some people could read that verse and interpret it that Jesus was a created being because of it saying from ancient times. But Jesus always was in existence before the dawn of creation. The trinity isn't something made up. In Revelation 1:8 and 11 Jesus says I am Alpha and Omega twice. But some translations like the niv decided to take that out 1 John 5:7 KJV "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." The niv and the Nasb took that verse out completely out... I could go on but there are so many more examples.
What most important is going from disobedience to obedience. Jesus teaching mainly is for us to repent turn from unrighteousness to righteousness. It’s that simple. Most Christians make a mountain out of a molehill. The Most High gives us the increase, by His Indwelling Spirit that abides in his obedient children.

Luke 5:37And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. 38But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved Nuff said
The reason some people trust KJV over other English translations is because in other translations there are certain things intentionally removed, it slightly changed that change the understanding of scripture... Therefore, preaching another Gospel.
The problem with this view is because those who make this argument make the KJV the standard. It can actually be proven through documented textual evidence that the KJV has a plethora of added verses and what the modern versions do is remove, bracket or footnote the verses and passages to demonstrate the KJV and by extension the TR and MT having additional readings that cannot be substantiated by manuscript evidence preceding the 12th century AD. In other words, what we read in the KJV was not seen or read by any Christian in any church for the first 1,000 years of the established church. To me, that’s a huge problem. KJVO’s say the Majority Text can be traced the the 1st century but that is just not true. The earliest reading we have of the Majority Text is the late 4th century and that is simply a fragment and not even a complete manuscript. The earliest more complete manuscript is Codex Alexandrinus which only is of the four gospels and that is dated to the 5th century. Again, nothing for the first 500 years of the church following the Majority Text reading. The Alexandrian Text reading we have fragments as early as 2nd century and more complete manuscripts by early 4th century with many other earlier sources in the Papyrii.
I understand your point and agree but aren't there new versions that take out verses and change words, names and titles to fit their doctrine? I know there is but what I'm really asking is, are you vouching for these versions as well?
There are many who believe certain translations leave out passages, yet the vast majority of Textual Critics and translators would state the KJV inserts or adds to the text in some areas.

@@andycruz7403 right ! I don’t touch another one.. Here’s the thing. It’s the only bible. Nobody who only reads a kjv bothers those who don’t. The ones who mess with all these other so called bibles are typically weak and powerless. They have No Holy Ghost. They stay in bondage all their lives, and if they aren’t their kids are. What people fail to realize is the Bible that worked 200 years ago, and 80, and 50 years ago still works. Why was this not an issue? 40, 50, 60 years ago? People who read these other so-called versions honestly, they’re calling out a liar. Because my God said he preserves his word. So he didn’t preserve his word until these new demonic versions came out with in the last 50 years ? They are saying that everyone’s been deceived up until now, and kjv the Bible didn’t work for them. They don’t realize how foolishly sound . The devil has them so caught up with the so-called I can’t understand the thous and thuses-that they don’t even know the scripture that says angels hearken unto the voice of God’s word. Which means when we start quoting scriptures. The Scriptures that are actually God’s word , angels move on our behalf. They are not moving on behalf of all of this foolishness that’s out now. They only understand one thing and that’s God’s pure word. The word that worked 300 years ago. Which again explains why they are weak, and powerless. The Bible says thy word have I hidden in my heart , that I might not sin against thee. If someone were to come up to me right now and so called scripture and it’s not from the King James Version- my spirit will not receive it. I already know it’s not a king James version because it does not compute when I hear it. It will not register or stick with me. Only God’s word sticks with me and is familiar to me. Also, the same people had no problem when Jay Z used the same language on his clothes. They had no problem learning Shakespeare. Same exact language. But they did it to get a diploma. Lastly, every time a demon is cast out of someone I noticed that they use thou and thus a lot. I don’t hear them saying anything out of these new versions. I wonder why. Sure is funny that this was never an issue until it became nearer to Jesus return. The confusion only started no more than 50 years ago. It’s all confusion. Now all of a sudden it’s a problem. They can go on and argue this all day long. I’ve been saved since March 2000. Every scripture I memorized with no problem was with the king James version. And I don’t have the best memory. But I remember those scriptures quickly because they were already hidden in my heart. I’ve had churches tried to pull me from the king James Bible. I stood flat-footed. The pastor fell off the wagon. This was in 2021- And everyone associated with him did also. Not me. I’ll stand on Gods holy word. I didn’t bow, even though they had a whole class coming against me because I refuse to touch anything other than a king, James Bible. Why would you have a class for one person who stood flat-footed? Because the devil knew. Also, those new king James version I think they stopped, but they used to have a witchcraft symbols on there. It amazes me how whole verses are removed like fasting. The devil doesn’t want anyone doing that. I have heard people who mess with them call Jesus Lucifer and Lucifer Jesus. I have heard more than once someone called Lucifer, the bright and morning star. That is straight heresy, and a damnable lie. But it I know where it’s coming from. It came from what they were reading -I’m done!
It's a word for word translation. Not changing, possibly the meaning by adding words to make it more modern. I read the NKJV. Some other versions AREN'T good translations. TRUTH

*True Story:* I actually learned to read from the bible by my mother who taught me how to read. She used the bible to do so, and I could read it word for word. When I got old enough to go to school, I couldn't' read or understand the school books because of the way they were written. No Thou, wilt's, or hither's, _etc_ in them. It took me longer to learn regular words than it did to learn the bible.

Brother Corey can u explain why some of these versions take whole verses out that is in the original text? And quote the verses in a whole different context with a different meaning? Like the NIV for an example does exactly that... Please help and explain
There are many old manuscripts. One set is called byzantine texts and the other group is the alexandrian texts. One group has more manuscripts and one has older manuscripts. KJV stems from one group and NIV stems from the other group. That's why "missing" verses are included in the footnotes. They are actually not in the original set of manuscripts. Scholars call this textual variants and the study of it they call textual criticism. There are very small amount of differences between the two groups of manuscripts. God bless!
Thank you for your inputs and I will look into this more and I will study more with the guidance from the Holy Spirit about how I should study God's Word and with which Bible version. 🙏

I stick with KJV only because of it being the only version directly transliterated from the strongs concordance. Changing words into easy readers voids using the concordance. Also changing one word totally changes the true meaning of the passage. Most all the new versions including the NKJV have left whole scriptures out completely. Look in the version you chose to read and see if Mathew 18:11 is even there. The concordance coupled with KJV will deliver the truth.

@@mr.blueshell0967 try the Coverdale Bible, which was about 75 years before the KJB. I used to just use the 1611 KJB, but now, after having looked at the older English translations, I much prefer the 1535 Coverdale Bible. Reading Coverdale’s letter to the reader (in his translation), I believe God used him to translate the scriptures in English. Tyndale started the work of translation, but Coverdale, (who I believe worked at times with Tyndale if I recall correctly), finished the complete Bible.

That's not the crux of the argument of the KJV onlyists. It's not about quoting it 'the exact way.' Perhaps you should actually look into their side of the argument more whether you agree them or not.
There’s an independent Baptist pastor who has a 2 hr long vid on why KJV only && in the vid he && 2 other pastors explain that the KJV is mathematically perfect. It’s an interesting vid. It was posted by Robert Breaker.
I know of Robert Breaker. I watch him too. He is not the only one fixated on KJV. I think if you like that one, read that one, if you have a new version - that one should be good as well. God is not God if He is unable to preserve His message and could only do it up until when KJV wqs written. Besides, one could ask: how do you know the version you have is the true KJV? If they do edits, what is stopping from editing a so called copy of the KJV?Does anybody even have the original version to compare? See.. at one point you need to let the paranoia go and trust God.
@@pitAlexx yeahh~ I still use the same method I was taught during my biblical interpretation course…use 3 translations to compare, gain full context && have a better understanding of the word. I usually use NASB, Amplified and NKJV (&& lately I have been looking at the KJV for extra spice) 🤣🤣
The King James version is actually the first Bible that was printed and distributed worldwide. If these other translations of the King James version Bible contradicts the King James version Bible, then that Bibles translation is wrong. The King James version is flawless, and God made it so for all of us. The word of God interprets itself, and is of no private interpretation. If one scripture contradicts another scripture, then your interpretation of this scripture is wrong.
Read the book. New Age Bible Versions by Gail Riplinger. Also look into who 'translated' and wrote and owns the 'current' Bible Versions. A lot of false Christians. It's about the doctrine. The 'new' Bibles teach different doctrine and some even call Joseph Jesus' father. The Devil uses subtlety.

The problem with the Septuagint isn’t what the historical record says it is, 50 complete books made only with the best materials. What we are told is the Septuagint is manuscripts with entire books missing most corrected manuscripts we have. I don’t trust the Septuagint or the textual criticism of the new versions. I’ll stick with the kjv or the Hebrew or Greek.
Brother Cory I love your videos but you are misguided here. The reason that some believers like myself use the “KJV only” is usually to get the original meaning of the text I am studying. For instance: “And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.” Acts 8:37-38 KJV V.S. “As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?” He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.” Acts of the Apostles 8:36, 38 NLT As you can see the most basic yet crucial part of being baptized is taken out of the NLT but is included in the KJV. “I believe that Jesus is the son of God” -this is necessary to be grafted in, to be part of Gods family. This can mislead so many it’s unreal. John 3:16 says for god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son for those who BELIEVE. This cannot be missed, it is pivotal. In conclusion, though I see your point and I agree to a point and I don’t always use the KJV but I do 90% of the time. Certain versions will corrupt and misguided someone still on milk.
I think at the end of the day, people have to make a decision as to what they want in a Bible. Do they want verses and passages that have no early witnesses or do they want a Bible that can be supported by the vast majority of the the earliest manuscripts we have today. Acts 8:37 has no earlier manuscript evidence than the 5th century and that’s only in the Latin. The earliest Greek manuscript we have for Acts 8:37 doesn’t appear until about the 6th century. That’s means this verse was known to nobody for about 500 years after the time of the apostles. I find this to be problematic because if something was original (as KJV advocates claim) then certainly we would find it somewhere. Many of the early witnesses simply do not possess this verse [absent in Papyrus 45 (3rd century), Codex B and Codex א (early 4th century) Codex A and Codex C (both 5th century), Papyrus 74 (7th century), Codex L (8th century) and Codex P, Ψ, Uncial 049, and minuscule 33 (all 9th century), and numerous other later Greek manuscripts from the tenth century on through the Middle Ages]. This verse can only be found in Codex E (6th century) and Minuscule 307 (10th century), 945 (11th century), 323, 610, 630 (12th century). Even the Byzantine Text as a whole omits this verse. It is only these few late manuscripts from the Middle Ages that have it. So there’s more than enough reason for modern versions to remove it, because the evidence proves that Luke did not write this.
Why use poison 10% of the time. If you don't understand what you are reading look up the original meaning of the key word.s in the passage.I believe the Strongs Complete Concordance is the best and you can get it online totally free. 😊

If only many people in the comments section would just read the King James Only Controversy by James White, it would clear up so much confusion and misinformation about the topic.
It's not the quoting of the King James. It's the fact that scripture has been removed from other versions of the Bible. Example Acts 8:37 is missing from most other versions along with 15 other verses. Read Revelation 22:19. God describes the punishment for this.
If we have no problem with the KJV, then we must have a problem with the readers of the KJV There are versions that others may find useful, the goal is to arrive at the knowledge of the truth. It seems to me that many newer versions lean more toward interpretation rather than translation. Also they have served as a dumbing down of biblical understanding. The greatest modern revivals came when the KJV was the main reference for understanding.Let us not be remiss, but acknowledge the role of the Holy Ghost in our learning.
You are right ,coz when we preach from KJV we used the simple words to for people to understand , but it's about what they changes the words , took out added , just one example in Luke Gospels tof he lord's prayer, they took the words , "who art in heaven also it's the first preserved Book in 2611 and other versions are of Alexandrian .
Some of the apostles were not literate men. The book of Matthew is thought to be written in Hebrew originally, because of distinctive hebrewisims. Paul was a Pharisee, son of a Pharisee, and a member of the Sanhedrin, trained by Gamaliel himself. Jesus spoke to him on the road to Damascus in the Hebrew tongue . Paul, when saved (and taken into custody) by the Roman soldiers, spoke to the Jews in the Hebrew tongue. Why would you think that the apostles taught primarily from the Greek Septuagint? It’s true, that Paul preached to the Greeks, but you’ll notice that he often teaches from the scripture in the synagogues where a Torah scroll would be located, not the Septuagint, to prove Jesus was the Christ.
I believe The KJV is the English way God gave and preserved his word I also understand that the origin of other English translations may come from corrupt ancient manuscripts such as the Sinaiticus the Vaticanus and the Alexandrinus if you notice English translations from these manuscripts in some form or fashion denies the diety of Christ and have missing verses so I prefer to stick with English translations that were translated from the Textus Receptus which included the KJV
There have been serious changes to the Bible from the different versions. That’s essentially why for me and if you want examples I can give them to you.
In order to hold your logic you have to discount, not a 400 year old book, but the manuscript family for 2000 years because the Uncials that modern versions are taken from were hidden for over 1500 years of church history.
GOD message is LOVE. Continue in Love. Truth is what GOD gives. LOVE surpasses all understanding. For it is written; first commandment, follow up the second commandment. These are one in the same.
Therefore the law is ignored And justice is never upheld. For the wicked surround the righteous; Habbukk 1:4 Therefore justice comes out perverted. Jesus never told you to ignore the law. This is why so many people are leaving christianity
the King James Bible (Authorized Version) is God's perfect preserved word as he promised in Psalm 12:6-7. It is the Final Authority. The Modern Bibles use corrupt manuscripts (Sinaiticus and Vaticanus) People who don't think God has preserved his word are calling God a liar. Jesus said in Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Don't let anyone get you off of that book, the King James. Because many are out there claiming Gods word has errors and he wasn't able to preserve his word correctly, and we need to use these corrupt manuscripts. Don't let anyone get you off of the King James Bible, God's perfect preserved without error. God bless you and stay strong against all the attacks! Great rewards in heaven awaits for standing up for God's perfect word amidst the satanic attacks God bless the fellow believers in Gods word give you strength and boldness, never give up. Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
I believed this for a while but this view is flawed. Psalm 12 was not a prophecy and the King James itself puts it in present tense. "The words of the lord are pure words" presently purified 7 times. It was perfect when the Psalms were written and always will be. But the king James bible was not around at that time. No version before the King James is exactly the same as the King James bible. Because of this fact and others you have to leave room for minor variations within the text of the Bible. You have to face it that this is clearly not a prophecy of a bible version in the future so you have no reason to believe that God would create a exact English version in the 1600s. Nor would it be wrong if God didn't make a exact version since there was not one all the years before. That being said God's exact and pure word is preserved through all time in the copies and not in a individual copy. I believe in a biblical textual criticism that is different than that of modern textual criticism. I still use the King James bible myself because of that. I believe what I am saying is actually consistent with the king James bible translators and many of the early protestants. King James only views seem like a overreaction against modern textual criticism kind of like the Amish overreacting to the evil in technology for example. It was not believed before modern textual criticism.
@@joshmccartney777 Your questions are stated as if there are only 2 options, either the KJV is absolutely perfect or the word of God is not preserved. Neither of which options are true. First we do have God's word available to us today. The King James for example is a amazing version in English of God's word where we can read his eternal truths. Second God has preserved his word purely in the Greek Copies and it is distributed and translated among the saints in many different languages. Now to ask you some questions that are related. Does a only French, Spanish, or Chinese speaking person have God's pure words available to them today? Did God purely preserve his word before the King James, if so where? Also, did people have God's pure words available to them before the King James, if so where? Truth should be consistent.
@@Jonathan-wx8yw truth is consistent, I believe the Bible when it says his words were purified, purification is a process, the end product being better than the first. Would it be against Gods nature to preserve his words in one language? He did for thousands of years in the language of the smallest people group on earth?
@@joshmccartney777 Let's take a careful look at the word of God in this place, Psalms 12:6 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” This is a description of the word of God and it's purity. It says they are (presently) pure words, then it describes their level of purity by saying they are AS silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified 7 times. This is comparing the word of God to silver which has been completely purified (7 being a symbolic number). To say God's word can become more pure than it already was is strange and unbiblical. Also it sounds like what your saying is that the word of God is more pure now than it was. For something to be purified means that it would have to be somewhat impure in the first place. It also sounds like your using this to answer my questions about the word of God before the King James bible. Are you saying the word of God had impurities before the King James bible? How do I know that the king James is the final purification? Why would I not believe that God that changes not has a consistently pure word which changes not as the Bible clearly states? I have already said that God has preserved his words in all its exact perfection in the Greek Copies, the word of God has been necessarily translated and given to the church in other languages since the beginning of church history. This is one argument that stands at the foundation of the King James bible itself against the Catholics that didn't think all people needed to read the word of God. You can read this in the preface of the king James bible itself. The Bible also supports this in Romans 16:25-26 "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:" King James onlyism is not consistent with the Bible, it is not consistent with history, and it is not consistent with the views of the translators themselves. Truth is consistent.
Thank you for this. I can’t tell you how many years I was hung up on the fact of “if I was using the correct translation or not”. I think the biggest difference that was presented to me was that the newer translations leaves out verses that are in the KJV and attacks the deity of Christ. But for me, the KJV can sometimes be hard to really understand. So I usually use 3 translations but CSB as my main one. It might be nice if you could do an in-depth video about the subject.
You still have to be careful because some of the others remove or add words which changes the meaning. KJV has been proven the closest. Also the other versions are trying to translate the KJV not the Hebrew/Greek text
It is funny how people treat believing in the King James Bible only is something that needs to be corrected, like they are sick or infirmed…The hypocrisy of people who think we need to gather around a multitude of versions in the name of unity. Things that are different are not the same.
@@edge2sword186 ah yes, all those errors, have they fixed them up then have they? They wouldn’t bring in more errors would they? I see no final authority for you it seems.
This man speaks heresy. What he fails to realize is that every word comes from God. Any rewritten wording of scripture can literally change the whole meaning of the message. It even says at the very last few scripture in Revelation that Revelation 22:19 KJV 19:“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
I like the NLT personally as well as the king James. We have to be careful with new interpretations because there is an active movement to change the meaning of the Bible to suit modern agendas. The best example of this is the so called “ Queen James “ version of the Bible that twists scriptures to explain away homosexuality. It is white Bible with a rainbow 🌈 cross on it.
I’d love to speak with you regarding this issue. The issue is that the KJV comes from the majority of texts - ie Textus receptus. While every modern translation uses two versions that disagree with each other thousands of times. KJV ONLY.
Well, it's God who gives the understanding of his word. So you also will know if the translation is off if you are determined to know the truth. If your still unsure ,you can't go far wrong with the king James bible or the amplified bible.
If your Bible doesn't have Mathew 17:21 it's not a trusted version. That is why the Kings James and New Kings James versions are trusted. Look for yourself and compare
Sadly, living in a last day Laodicean apostate church age, not many Christians understand what it means to be a narrow-minded fundamental Bible believing Christian. The Bible say narrow is the way, straight is the gate, and to consider the old paths, the old ways. It's confusion to have many translations of bibles, and not being able to identify one Bible that has the inspired, uncorrupted, INERRANT, Oreintated, PERSERVED words of God . Obviously its in a kjv Bible. The Bible say God take the foolish things of the word to confound the wise. That's what some of you folks get, for rejecting a kjv Bible, with the inspired and PERSERVED words of God in it. The Laodicean apostate church age is definitely on the scene today , and it shows she is blind and naked.
I have the NkJV I got it when I was baptized at 15 in 2005 never picked it up and read until 29 after a demonic spirit attacked me(I was living in sin) And then I surrendered I was delivered. So the fact that I had it in my possession almost 15 years later, I just go with the holy spirit that that's the version I'm supposed to be reading for me specifically.
New Age Versions do not have 1 John 5:7, the verse that gives us the Trinity. Further, New Age Versions mistranslate Ephesians 4:12, and now all paid Christians think it's their job to "equip the saints for works of service," instead of actually doing the work of the ministry. This means essentially we pay 60 billion dollars a year to get nothing, and the gospel isn't being preached anywhere in America because paid Christians are too busy "equipping" people (yet most of them couldn't equip their way out of a wet paper bag).
1 Tim 2:15; Col 2:18 kjv vs niv which one is correct? The new versions are corrupt so if you use them you will be corrupt also. A little Leven levens the whole lump.
Acts chapter 6 kjv. Someone who was on the side of the apostles was from Antioch and someone in the group that came against the apostles was from Alexandria Egypt. The kjv comes from manuscripts from Antioch. ALL the new versions come from Alexandria Egypt. The new versions come from siniaticus and vaticanus collated by two men named Wescott and Hort. These two men were sipritists, occultists.. the manuscripts were found in a catholic monastery trash can. Have you heard of blavatsky A satanist?
What is Satan’s name?? It is only mentioned one time in the KJV Isaiah 14:12 KJVS [12] How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Your corrupt, antichrist translation removes the one and only mention of your enemies name. Who would do that? Do your research on Westcott and Hort. You will find more than enough evidence to steer clear of all modern perversions.
Look into the original languages of the text, then compare translations. KJV is outdate and had limited resources compared to us today in the 21st century. I perfer the MEV as a Bible tramslation.
The same and only reason why I only stick the King James version is in order to write a new version of the Bible you have to change the actual words the meaning everything 10% there is over hundreds of different denominational Bibles so you can see the further out you get the more it's not the same
"Trusted versions" would not use the alexandrian text type. The Syriac Christians polluted Christianity in all kinds of ways and that is reflected in their scribal tradition. The best bibles come from the Jerusalem tradition (where things started after Jesus death/resurrection). This is the argument for the KJV and the Byzantine text. Not all English translations are remotely equal.
The KJV is simply the most accurate of the 1609s till now. The Bishops Bible, Wycliff Bible and other 1500s versions may be more accurate in English. But ANYTHING post 1900 in English is very inaccurate if not outright Corrupt such as the message, niv, Nlt, etc. You don't have to speak Old English to understand the KJV.
I don't think any one who mainly uses KJV do it for the reason you were explaining, it sounds kind of silly and like you're avoiding the real reasons. For starters, the old English is the purest form of English we have, as there is a lot less slang and multiple definitions of each word. The words are more potent. There are also examples where the old English clears up certain contradictions in the Bible, whereas in newer translations it creates contradictions. And oh yeah, let's not forget that there are literal verses, senetances, words etc. taken out of newer translations as compared to KJV. And don't forget that 1611 KJV was translated by several real Christian scholars in that day and age, whereas nowadays the Bible is the top selling book of all time, and companies translate it in hopes for purely profit, and they sometimes even change, remove many things to fit their narratives so they can appease sinners to buy their orisuct. So in short, this is why I and many others use KJV and don't touch newer translations. Me personally I use a strongs concordance as well. Which gives an even deeper meaning and understanding of scripture and certain words/names in the Bible.
I don’t care how many Bibles they get out there there’s only one Bible. The Holy Ghost is not stupid. God’s word can be understood if you’re studying in the word and seriously applying it to your every day life.
The problem is other versions completely removing many versus. In some there are tons of versus and almost entire chapters removed. Then you have versions saying that God is sitting on the toilet. But go ahead and read whatever corrupt version you like. I'm KJV only.

In Revelation 1:8 and 11
Jesus says I am Alpha and Omega twice. But some translations like the niv decided to take that out
1 John 5:7 KJV "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." The niv and the Nasb took that verse out completely out... I could go on but there are so many more examples.
What most important is going from disobedience to obedience. Jesus teaching mainly is for us to repent turn from unrighteousness to righteousness. It’s that simple. Most Christians make a mountain out of a molehill.

The NIV is a "thought for thought" and not word for word. If the KJV is too hard to read, I would recommend the NKJV or ESV.
@@silkjade1 Wonderful. I prefer the ESV but I grew up reading from the KJV. I also like the NKJV. The NASB is based from the same manuscripts as the ESV and is more word for word.

If one scripture contradicts another scripture, then your interpretation of this scripture is wrong.

, it's just interesting ref: to using the KJV as the only " so- called" Bible translation to use , for one, there are no J's in Hebrew.. for instance: Jerusalem was Yerusalyem ( spelling?) with a Y... so also, that in Acts 12:4 of the KJV uses "Easter" rather then "Passover" corrected in the NKJV of that scripture to " Passover" etc..note: .Easter Sunday was to replace the Jewish feast of Passover and the next day Feast of " First Fruits" ( Jesus is the First Fruits of all creation)
(Easter, named for Ishtar or Ashtarte, was the Mother Goddesses of Babylonia and Assyria originally a festival celibrating the pagan rebirth of the son and the regenerative powerof the sin- bearer Nimrod ( Saturn)! Later introduced via " Lent" from Roman Christianity...note: Jesus never came to start " a Religion"!

I’ll stick with the kjv or the Hebrew or Greek.
Brother Cory I love your videos but you are misguided here. The reason that some believers like myself use the “KJV only” is usually to get the original meaning of the text I am studying. For instance:
“And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.”
Acts 8:37-38 KJV
V.S.
“As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?” He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.”
Acts of the Apostles 8:36, 38 NLT
As you can see the most basic yet crucial part of being baptized is taken out of the NLT but is included in the KJV.
@@annfurlong7921 that’s what I use also, it’s just sometimes I may not understand so I try to watch sermons about it to understand what I am reading further
If we have no problem with the KJV, then we must have a problem with the readers of the KJV
There are versions that others may find useful, the goal is to arrive at the knowledge of the truth.
Seeing that Greek face, I will stick with the laws, statues and commandments, that's what God told us to do and Jesus gave us faith in them to do.
Poetry a fine Art.
God message to us is to stop following our capture ways and do the work God told us to do.
Here your start, psalm 111:10 ,John 14:15 , rev 14:12 1 John 2:1-5 Roman 6:1-3
There have been serious changes to the Bible from the different versions. That’s essentially why for me and if you want examples I can give them to you.
In order to hold your logic you have to discount, not a 400 year old book, but the manuscript family for 2000 years because the Uncials that modern versions are taken from were hidden for over 1500 years of church history.
GOD message is LOVE. Continue in Love. Truth is what GOD gives. LOVE surpasses all understanding. For it is written; first commandment, follow up the second commandment. These are one in the same.

the King James Bible (Authorized Version) is God's perfect preserved word as he promised in Psalm 12:6-7.
@@Jonathan-wx8ywso in short, we don’t have Gods pure words available to us today? He didn’t preserve them?
@@joshmccartney777 Let's take a careful look at the word of God in this place, Psalms 12:6 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”
This is a description of the word of God and it's purity.
The Bible also supports this in Romans 16:25-26 "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:"
King James onlyism is not consistent with the Bible, it is not consistent with history, and it is not consistent with the views of the translators themselves. Truth is consistent.
I prefer the King James version because it is not missing Matthew 17:21
Thank you for this.
I can’t tell you how many years I was hung up on the fact of “if I was using the correct translation or not”.

It might be nice if you could do an in-depth video about the subject.

@@1611KJVcompare the KJV to the original Greek/Hebrew & tell me what you think?
Which word?
This man speaks heresy. What he fails to realize is that every word comes from God. Any rewritten wording of scripture can literally change the whole meaning of the message. It even says at the very last few scripture in Revelation that Revelation 22:19
KJV 19:“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
There are some passages in the KJV that’s not in the original manuscript. Do we throw away the KJV?
Who has the original manuscript that showed you?
I'm not following the apostles. I'm following Jesus... KJV is the only version that ain't watered down...
You should be following Paul….
It isn’t watered down just completely mistranslated from the original text
I’d love to speak with you regarding this issue. The issue is that the KJV comes from the majority of texts - ie Textus receptus. While every modern translation uses two versions that disagree with each other thousands of times. KJV ONLY.
Well, it's God who gives the understanding of his word. So you also will know if the translation is off if you are determined to know the truth. If your still unsure ,you can't go far wrong with the king James bible or the amplified bible.
Great point!
“The new versions are corrupt”
Please back up your assertion
Acts chapter 6 kjv. Someone who was on the side of the apostles was from Antioch and someone in the group that came against the apostles was from Alexandria Egypt. The kjv comes from manuscripts from Antioch. ALL the new versions come from Alexandria Egypt. The new versions come from siniaticus and vaticanus collated by two men named Wescott and Hort. These two men were sipritists, occultists.. the manuscripts were found in a catholic monastery trash can. Have you heard of blavatsky A satanist?
@@rodneyhendricks3592 What is the primary SOURCE to back up your claims?
What is Satan’s name?? It is only mentioned one time in the KJV
Isaiah 14:12 KJVS
[12] How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
AMEN!!
I’m glad that I found your channel brother!
The same and only reason why I only stick the King James version is in order to write a new version of the Bible you have to change the actual words the meaning everything 10% there is over hundreds of different denominational Bibles so you can see the further out you get the more it's not the same
Amen to that! Let's cherish the word of Yahweh
God is good! KJV is bond! I'm not reading a Bible that's missing and twisting verses! But yeah God's word is bond!GiG!
But instead you are reading a Bible with a bunch added verses not found in any manuscripts from before the 11th century.
@@J.F.331such as?
Which one should we get
The KJV is simply the most accurate of the 1609s till now. The Bishops Bible, Wycliff Bible and other 1500s versions may be more accurate in English. But ANYTHING post 1900 in English is very inaccurate if not outright Corrupt such as the message, niv, Nlt, etc. You don't have to speak Old English to understand the KJV.
I only read KJV , never made or heard any of these comments in my life
Amen!!!!!
Who is the author of confusion because after what you just said I am extremely confused I don't think you're helping
I don’t care how many Bibles they get out there there’s only one Bible. The Holy Ghost is not stupid. God’s word can be understood if you’re studying in the word and seriously applying it to your every day life.
Let the HOLY GHOST
TEACH..THEN WE ALL WILL HAVE THE SAME TEACHINGS.. AMEN
Wrong, he will guide you to all truth, Jesus said thy word is truth.
Who puts Kings in authority? Read Psalm 75. You know why the King James is Authorized.
It’s the omissions that are the problem.
What if the version does not cherish the message?
The problem is other versions completely removing many versus. In some there are tons of versus and almost entire chapters removed. Then you have versions saying that God is sitting on the toilet. But go ahead and read whatever corrupt version you like. I'm KJV only.
Facts! They don’t want to have that discussion. These other versions even have Jesus sinning and lying. People attack kjv onlyist because we believe God’s word. How ironic is that
@@kevkev1078 yes you are correct. They like the other versions because they water down God's holy Word. If they read those versions carefully they would see how watered it is....but they don't want to see or acknowledge it.
@@timothyblevins1345 so true! All one has to do is open all these versions and put them on the table and compare the words! These bibles all say something different from the KJV! Notice you never see Esv , niv, nsb, onlyist? But they all attack the Kjv! It’s something very different about the Kjv! I use to read the nsrv and I always felt something was off. I avoided the Kjv for years because of what scholars said. I fell for it! But when I opened that book I knew it was God’s word perfectly preserved in English!
@@kevkev1078 amen I read nothing else. They are wasting there time trying to fight against people who are smart enough to be KJV.
@@kevkev1078 I like to tell them you can't fix what's not broke. I ask them if they have ever seen someone try and fix a car or anything that has no problems. Guess what happens I ask them. 😆 They break it trying to fix something that's not broke.
