I've done lots of Kitchener stitching before, but never in the round. Thank you for a terrific, easy to follow video. I especially appreciate the instruction for "closing the hole". That was one of my concerns, which you addressed perfectly!
You most likely got a bit off track on the grafting. You should have ended up with one stitch on each needle. Pass through the front stitch as if to knit and remove then go through the first st of the round (I have it on a marker from the beg of the video) as if to purl. On the back needle, go thru the st as if to purl and remove and then go through the other st on hold from beg of round as if to knit.
I'm a little confused about how you got down to the last 2 stitches. It seems like the last stitches are dealt with a little differently. When I was doing it, I got down to 2 stitches on the front needle and 1 on the BN. So then I go into the next to last front stitch knitwise and take it off the needle. Then I go into the last stitch on the FN pw and leave it on the needle. It doesn't look like that is where you picked up. Did you then go into the stitch on the back needle PW and pick up there?
can you help me figure out how to do this with live stitcheson 2 circular needles that aren't in a tube like yours. mine is circular but i am trying to make a invisible seam and graft together for a headband linig

How fun is this technique! I have never done it in the round before and will remember to try it. Thank you so much.
I love how clear you are!
I appreciate this very clear and well filmed demo...thank you!
I hadn't thought of connecting two ends of a tube together! That's really cool.

I have tried about six different times, and my stitches look like purls instead of knits. What am I doing wrong?
