Fun fact, I saw one interview in which they were saying that the name of the band came from Apanhador no Campo de Centeio (A Catcher in the Rye, book by J.D. Salinger) - and "Marinheiro Só", song by Caetano Veloso - making "Apanhador Só" - to this day I don't know if they were joking, but it's a little fun fact. These guys used to make beautiful shows, in theaters, little clubs, and it was always so awesome. In smaller shows, they even let everybody come up on stage and play with them. After the shows we all get together to talk to the band. I remember smoking a ciggie with the guitarist in the parking lot, and talk about some album by Radiohead. They were really great, I miss those times.
The word "Só" in "Apanhador Só" is also from a song called "Ando Só", by Engenheiros do Hawaii, a band from the same city they're from (Porto Alegre) that the vocalist (Alexandre Kumpinski) used to listen a lot to during his teenage years.
