Congrats to the person whom purchased this beautiful 67 GTO. For the Price of $29,500 you honestly can't go wrong. I definitely myself would have made the offer. Being Sold i would ask the new Owner if he were interested in selling the Car. Thanks Ron. If you come across any information.im very interested. Richard Schmidt.
A VERY clean example, indeed. Show quality, in fact. The only thing I would change - and it's minor - are the engine air breather assembly and the rocker arm covers are aftermarket, which detracts from the overall stock appearance of from what appears to be a cosmetic restoration and frame cleanup that was nicely done. I'd make that swap pronto, as the stock equipment was chromed as well. The price is about right, too. The future owner is a lucky guy.
I had a new one 'back in the day'. 67 Fire engine red with red interior and a black ragtop. 400ci, 360hp, 4 speed, 3.90 posi rear. Had it for almost 4 years and traded it with 68K miles in Jan 71 for a blue 71 Chevelle Malibu 400 ragtop (402ciBB, WR 4 speed, 3.31 12 bolt posi, 32K miles). I still own the car to this day. Wish I still had my GTO too. Actually two of them, I had a 65 as well !
My friend is a pontiac collector and has many of these body style GTO's good looking car man. We cant take his super clean 66" anywhere without people stopping us and talking cars. What I wouldn't give to have my own shop and build/own one.....
I don't CARE whether the hood tach is "original" or not--- I LOVE It.. .looks and is great for that vehicle. Love this one- -black on black-- and it sounds SOOO GOOD!!!! WOW..
There is no VIN stamped on 67 blocks, the engine casting is correct for 67, engine code WW is 335hp manual, heads are correct 670s, looks like it has its original engine, hope it was sold as numbers matching 😉
He was incorrect in saying that the factory tachometer was not an option for ‘67. It was a dealer installed option in the first half of the production run. The factory started the hood tachometer installation during the second half of the model year production run
OH I LOVE this... wish I had the money.... I'd take it right now--- BUT... alas can't.. BEAUTIFUL vehicle... GREAT JOB- and LOVE the whole setup..color, car and all!!!! GREAT VIDEO.

Makes me want to drive it! Ahh, the satisfaction of shifting and getting the "feel" of the clutch, screw the modern "mandatory" automatic. I know you could get an auto back them as well, but it was your choice, not your ONLY choice. People seem too lazy to want to really drive anymore. Put it in "drive" and let the computer "nannys", cameras, and screen on the dash, etc. do the rest. That's not "driving".
That was a good way to check for body filler. A good magnet is what I use but don't slide it across the paint because it will leave hair line scratches.
Ya some days I regret not buying my brother in laws frame off 67 red with white interior and dual gate Hurst. Sale price of $2200. The only thing not OE was headers . I didn't want to be interrogated about it's upkeep after purchase.

I had this exact car (in red) bought in 1969 for $2300 used. The gas crisis forced me to sell it. Seems like a lot for this car. But, I bought a home for $10,000 then which is selling today for over $200,000. The dollar is dying.
The car is beautiful but who tought you that a dollar bill is 3.5 mill, hahaha a cigarettes are 8 mill, how can a dollar bill be 3.5 mill, something wrong with your math lol

Oh how I would love a 67 GTO, 4 Speed with Hurst floor shifter 4 barrel. I had one in 1967 as I listed. Turoquise with black leather interior. 😢
This was my 1st car, the color was a deep plum almost looked black. This Video sure does bring back great memories.
Such a wonderful example of workmanship. It's worth every penny! I would prefer to raise the backend to accommodate racing slicks.
Love this car .. I have a 66 with 3 2s ..

I disagree. 1968 option
1967 was first year for the hood tach on a GTO it was a dealer option.

The paint starts to trip you out after looking at the reflection of the camera man, mirror finish

While I appreciate this is for sale and you're trying to narrate the selling points of the car, I would have loved to be able to hear more of the car.

Is it still available?
Is this car still available for sale
I see the car is sold. In 1967, there were two engine options for the GTO, the 330 hp and the 360 hp version. Do you know which this was?
Hi, is this car still for sale?
Still for sale?
riding the clutch dammit
Location please
What state is it for sale in ??
4 speed auto ??
This has "ejecto seato" mod? 10:23
Why do you have to power shift it ,and beat on it when you're trying to sell it?? I wouldn't buy it after that. Idling fast enough.........
needs disc brakes otherwise ..NICE
This is a cheap appraisal. I see these going for middle 40's
Huh?...Whats that funny handle he is turning at 12min in on the left????
That my friend was the way you would roll up and down windows before automatic windows.

2017 Mustang GT
hate hood tach
No A/C
... good - no radio even better - the more deletions back in the day the better ..... all un-needed in a muscle car.
@@nemesisxrox6773 My sentiments exactly. Then again, if you live in the extreme heat south, guess you would need it, to survive.
Wrong wheels
giantgeoff Rally II wheels are correct for '67.
The Rally II wheels are correct. The center caps should be red PMD with black background and the lug nuts should be black centers not red.
