I am a Japanese man of 68 years old. I watched the movie `Romeo and Juliet` about fifty years ago in Tokyo when I was a university student. I was so moved by the movie that tears dropped from eyes naturally. It was a very nostalgic memory.
When a loving couple chooses to live and die within a logical consequence and consideration from a logical sense and point of view.. hmmmm.. dear wife please.. we don't need to die.. but thrive as a human species ambitions of it very self.. hmmmm...
I played this at a concert one night and saw old ladies cry, I felt bad for playing it, but they assured me it brought them joy and happiness to remember their loved ones

I am so blessed to have experienced the Romeo and Juliet in 1968 and longed for my Juliet. I prayed to God that he would grant me that Juliet in 1969, during one of the darkest times is my life. By God’s Grace alone, I was granted that wish at the end of 1970. We dated for 5 1/2 years, got married and are still married 45 years later! To those who are discouraged, my prayer for you is to hang in there! Life is tough! To God be the glory!

Мне было лет 5, но эта мелодия хорошо запомнилась, как ощущение красивой, печальной сказки. Уже много лет прошло, но всегда, когда я слышу мелодию из фильма Ромео и Джульетта, я ощущаю щемящую ностальгию по безоблачному такому далёкому и безвозвратному прошлому.
