they do, but I always wonder what would happen if the overweight, inebriated uncle fell asleep on the settee. At best you'd miss breakfast, at worst.... well, it's not an en suite 🤔🤷
You know what I love here - the toilet is dry and the sink is the wet/shower part! That makes so so much more sense than the usual wet toilet to me! Thanks again Nick and happy new year to you and yours....
Exactly! I can't believe 99% of the time (in semi-wet heads) it seems to be the other way around, very weird to me. I guess the concept of having a "shower bench" is partly why, but still, I'd definitely prefer a dry toilet to a dry sink.
Amazing boat. Love the little fly bridge and that aft cabin. That was truly unexpected. That engine compartment is really getatable. Great boat for both inland and ocean waters. Thanks for getting us a look.
Lovely boat absolutely built for purpose! Thanks for this tour and all your tours! Wishing you, Marianne, the family and everyone a very happy and healthy new year! 🍾 🎉
Don't think for a second that you got away with straightening the steering wheel , without us fellow OCDers noticing! Happy 2023 to Marianne and you. xx
Nice boat. Clever interior with two private "cabins". It's not trying to be more than it is - nothing added on or put in just to claim a feature in the brochure. I like the finish as well. Great for commuting plus ready for weekend fun. All in all a proper boat at a reasonable price. Thanks Nick and thanks Nord Star.
Really nice little boat. I was just wondering where the generator is? It must have one as it's all-electric cooking and there were breakers for it on the switch panel at 4:36!
Cracking little boat, really well made and presented. Thanks for all your hard work this last year Nick, and of course never forgetting the beautiful Marianne, for showing us mere mortals some amazing yachts. Can’t wait to see what you both bring us in 2023, and on that note, I wish you and your family a prosperous new year, and a happy new year to all the followers of your fantastic channel.🥳🥳🥳
Hi Nick, Thank you for this nice show of this beautiful and cozy North Star 36 a lovely quick yacht what sleeps 5 people when needed the cozy kitchen great and 2 big engines Thanks again Nick a great show
Very practical boat, with all the things you need for a weekend away. Very well put together and stylish as well. Really like it. Happy New Year Nick. Thanks for the video.
Nice Boat! That hide away second cabin is pretty slick. A great multipurpose boat. At first glance it is a little different looking but after the tour I’m quite taken with it, Bravo Nick Cheers
I like all of the railing. Its safer for a family with kids. I wouldn't say no to a weekend on her. Thank you Nick for another great yacht look around.
This is a lovely boat. I like the Finnish philosophy with boat building. If I had one complaint, and it is a minor one, would be with the materials in the fore cabin; a few sound treatment panels should fix the resonances though. Thank you for the tour. Lovely as always. (A tip for your Fridays: don't play the drinking game where you drink every time Nick says "finish" or "Finnish" with this video!)
A Finnish boat, so very practical, but with a more contemporary look indeed. Much better the the well known "all wood" interiors which always reminds me of a Finnish sauna...the more contemporary design is a nice balance between the more traditional style and the very slick style of modern cruisers. I like it, a lot.
Absolutely love Finnish boats... apart from one thing (unless you upgrade to the biggest boat they have, notice I've already looked into it!)... that upholstery fabric, the mock suede effect stuff... the one where you can leave an entire imprint of your backside including your jeans pockets and brand! Every touch a finger mark... eek! That would drive me absolutely nuts, but as I don't have a spare £380K at the moment, I'll calm the you know what down... 🤣 Great tour, as usual. Happy New Year Nick & Marianne!
Finally someone had the same thought as myself. Most of these wet heads have the shower over the toilet. Was wandering where people would put their change of clothes, in the sink or just walk naked to and from? Finally a solution, they put the shower over the sink. So you can put your change of clothes on top of the toilet. Give the person with this idea a raise. Nice boat. Very practical. Thanks Nick.
Hey Nick you really have to give props Nordstar they have cornered the market when it comes to working boats that feel like yachts with quality builds and who wouldn't love the hidden cabin as we have seen before but the flybridge makes this one my favourite, have a great day bud
There are a lot of features on this little, little ship. The second cabin is great and very spacious. I was expecting a hole with a mattress in there since you need to push up a seat cushion to access it but it's a real cabin. I think I saw generator gauges and switches on the electrical panel so maybe that open floor space in the engine compartment is where that might go. Just a guess. Very nice boat with some very tourquey engines! Happy New Year!!!
love what these guys are doing all seems all in all unique V everyone else (that I have seen) and nobody even close to matching them at price point for what you get :)
You know what? I thought that I was a serious subscriber of the channel, having watched all your videos. Turns out, somehow I've missed this one. Love these kind of boats...they are almost "reachable" to the...more common of us :) .
Great tour and a really practice boat. I’m clearly losing my touch on reality with boat prices, as watched this thinking “what a bargain” the entire time! Thanks for the tour Nick!
Maybe a sonar waring system would be good for a boat of this size and larger? As in a sonar system, constantly scanning the water, for anything under the water that the boater might crash into? Those reflectors on the rocks also sounds like a great idea. But having both, just incase, doesn't sound like a bad thing. Maybe it has one already? Also the usual sea digital sea maps of underwater debris, combined with two sonar. One sonar focused to look ahead of the boat, and arching to each side, to see focus as far forward as possible, with the minimum lag time between sensing out the sonar beam and it returning as possible. To give you as much time as possible to warn you if something is coming up fast, and if turning to either side is clear. Also, the second sonar, would be a 360⁰ sonar, for both identifying what dangers are in each direction, you change decide to turn. A warning screen could flash red, with an alarm that varies on how ignore-able it is based on how imminent the threat is. Maybe with an auto pilot to automatically avoid dangers noticed on route by any one of these three safety systems. I'm guessing this has already been thought of somewhere.
Didn't forget the rear lower accommodation this time Nick ? 🤣🤣, thanks for the years content all excellent. Have a prosperous New Year the two of you and keep safe.
Well as the saying goes " less is more" 40 knots is not to be sneezed at in anyone's book . I love the nice subtleties in this boat . Nick was there a stern to berthing station by the transom gate 🤔? would I change or add anything? ,maybe a grab rail running along the saloon ceiling . Be great if you could get a test drive in this one Nick
Interesting , Thank You . Looks well designed for her purpose , I like having an "extra" fuel tank . I would like to see more specs. Happy New year , thank you for the work that you and you're helpers (if any)
Brilliant boat.. Found it a bit odd you didn't mention the fender holder solution on the rear of the boat when you stepped on though.. If i won the lottery, I'd replace the second cabin with an office layout, so i'd have a spot for a little PC and perhaps a sofa, to tuck myself away with a good book™ and see if i could maybe replace/reduce the extra fuel tank to fit a watermaker and i'd basically never have to leave.. which sounds grand..
It deffo needs a generator for cooking at anchor,as well as a good extractor hood or the cooking will steam you and the cupboard contents...apart from that,i really like it.These finnish boats from the big 3 are really fantastic.
Very nice example of Finnish engineering. Great tour as always Nick. I wonder how much less it would cost with a single screw? I’m guessing around twenty grand less.
these nordic boats has box shape designs and windshield is slopped inward compared to the sleek shapes of other boats. get the feeling it's more suitable for cold weather sailing, what's the real difference between them?
Based on commercial all-weather ships, the brow helps against heavy wet weather as you say... but also for keeping sun glare out. It's why we're seeing the style more and more on glitzy Italian yachts, etc., but the advantage of the sports cruiser style is aerodynamics, and of course aesthetics if you like spaceship looking ships vs tugboat looking ships. (I like both).
A very efficient looking craft, fast too, if not perhaps a bit Spartan. Thanks for the background on the lights. On reflection, it was very revealing. (Sorry)
Thank you. I also viewed this boat at Southampton and it is impressive and meticulously spec’d by its wise owner and with smart exterior colour. Have you got the price right in your header?!
Anyone else think those hidden cabins you find on these kind of boats look so much more cosy and inviting than the main cabin
they do, but I always wonder what would happen if the overweight, inebriated uncle fell asleep on the settee. At best you'd miss breakfast, at worst.... well, it's not an en suite 🤔🤷

Bonjour se sont des bateaux insubmersible ?
Thank you. I also viewed this boat at Southampton and it is impressive and meticulously spec’d by its wise owner and with smart exterior colour. Have you got the price right in your header?!
Tidy, attractive boat.
Website says a fuel capacity of 663 liters or 175 gallons, so an extra fuel tank would be really handy.
So there is no generator, how do you use the cooker?
You get lots of diesel powered hobs on these types of boats. They look electric but are diesel powered.
