  • In this video I show typical alterations to the 1939 Wrap Dress Pattern, Wearing History #R123.
    Included are shortening the bodice (or lengthening), raising the armholes, where I would add to the back for coverage. This was made in an era when women may not have worn bras under dresses like this, so these standard alterations should help with bra coverage.
    I also show mocking it up and on the form to check general fit.
