I'd like to increase the baud rate on the display. How the heck do I do that?
Thanks
No problem
hello you are the best i made my project based on your videos, but can you help me please my final year projet is in less then 2 weeks my nextion screen have issues idk why i didnt drop it wet it or anything but there are 2 pixels in the screen that doesnt work the O and the K when u use the nextion basic keyboard the shipment of new nextion screen will take about a month cause am not from america is there like can be any configurations i can change or something i really cant find anyvideo helpfull thank you
Sorry but I don't know much about the hardware. I have had to order a few after some have broken.
Thankyou for the videos till now, watched all in a single sitting. I am watching all the videos on speed set to 2x. and sometimes the editor comments are useful, but sometimes distracting as well.
You might want to correct your playlist of nextion as it has on 9 "Capture RS232 commands..." video which I suppose is not a part of this series.
Video Number 11 is missing from the list but is in your videos
Video Number 12 is after 14
I noticed that you didn't make 13. (supersticious!!huh)
Anyway, thanks and keep going.
i was wondering If we could set-up 4-5 sliders on a sigle page and have them send data to control several servos. How do we read them through a single "Serial.read". Will putting suffixes be your solution and making cases in arduino to correspond each incoming data_from_display from slider to its supposedly connected servo?
I know it will work but will be great if you can demonstrate it once.
Thanks, I think we got the playlist back in order. We had some technical difficulties with 12 and 13. We are currently reworking them. They are multipart videos. 12a, 12b and the like. I just did not want to hold any completed videos back so we publish when they are done and then fix the order later. We have found that very few people notice what you noticed. I want to thank you again for pointing the errors out. The editor is supposed to catch small things but also inject a little humor. We are never too sure how far to go. You are correct in the multiple sliders example. that will be part 12b or c out early next week. Then 13 will be a couple on initiating the data collection from the Arduino instead of the Nextion sending when it wants too. Sometimes the Arduino needs to take charge!

I just controlled 5 servos using the sliders and display. Uploaded a video as well
Does anyone know why the simulator is so slow compared to the actual Nextion display?
I've got my MCU connected to the Nextion Debug simulator via a USB-to-TTL adapter - same as in the video. It works, but it is very slow. I'm sending string and numeric values from the MCU to the simulator, but it's about 30 times slower than if I had the MCU connected directly to the actual (physical) display. 30 times slower is useless for development - any ideas how to get the simulator to perform faster?
That is very strange. I usually get the opposite result. The simulator runs more smoothly and then I am a little disappointed in the actual result. Maybe the difference is the display. Are you using an intelligent version? I have not yet used an actual intelligent one only an enhanced display.
kindly make a video on sending text from arduino coding to nextion display. thanks in advance
I have a video that might help you. ua-cam.com/video/VovDHGs1zDk/v-deo.html I am not sure if links work in comments but try it and comment if this video does not show what you need.

Thank you
I have my nextion display connected via USB-TTL. I uploaded once successfully; but I cannot upload for the second time. I says "Connection failed Forced interrupt!"
Did you go to your device manager and see if the connection changed? sometimes my com port numbers will change on me.
Also if you have the Arduino IDE open, sometimes it will use the same connection and if Nextion thinks the port is in use it will refuse to use it.
