    Great work. I'm looking at doing the same to some old mallards I got for a bottle of jim bean. I'll be making black ducks though as I am on the east coast.

    nice work. I live in california in the sac valley and 90% of the birds we see are wigeon or sprig and i have always been annoyed that wigeon decoys are so expensive. to me the best rice blind spread would have about 300 wigeon decoys. i have a couple hundred old beat up mallard decoys I may just need to do an assembly line decoy paint operation one weekend.

      Hey Ross thanks for watching. I know this might sound crazy but I just get an idea of what I want for shape draw it in pencil and cut it from a plate.
