- Опубліковано 16 вер 2024
- In the summer of 2019, my daughter and I visited El Morro National Monument in New Mexico. The site preserves ancestral Puebloans, over 2,000 inscriptions carved by Spanish and American travelers and a famous well that supplied water to inhabitants and travels for centuries.

One of my favorite things about your videos, besides the natural and historic significance you share, is the acts of kindness you model. It is something I can show my girls for some goodness in the world. I am watching this a day after Thanksgiving and with that please know I am very Thankful for you and your family, your channel with it's amazing content & the hard work you put into it's presentation. Much love to you and your family :)
Thanks so much, Jymn! You guys seem like a warm-hearted wonderful group of folks as well! Trust you had a fantastic Thanksgiving, my friend!
Definitely agree! ♡
*Splendid Tour, Friend. Regards You.*
Thank you very much!
How nice of your kindness to help those park workers!
Thanks, and it was a joy to "give back" for all their service that I have enjoyed over the years!
love your "America's Parks is here" magnet!! And Love that you wear he Park gear like a PRO hahaha.... amateurs buy the shirt for the Park they are at and wear it there.. Pros wear a shirt from an Other Park !! hahaha .... got to love the staircase/ do you know THE Park "joke" ?? They're putting in elevators... next year...(you might hear that at any Park with a climb) AWESOME you help out the trail crew, smiling huge right now.. great scenery and interesting history GREAT video!
Now THAT is spoken as a genuine insider to the National Parks! Appreciate it, Thorn! Have a super weekend, my friend!
Water is so vital! People would search far and wide for a place like that. It must have been a joy to find it. Great video and thanks for helping those guys out!
Thanks, Josh! Always feels so good to serve others!
Randy, I am thinking that Kayla was not surprised, but I am very impressed that you took the time and energy to help maintain the trail. That guide the nice ranger loaned you was helpful, amazing inscriptions and history! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR DAY WITH US, . . . Mike
Happy to help!
We have been there. Nice seeing El Morrow again. Thanks 😊
Nice, few ever take the time to visit this one!
This area of the country is so beautiful. Fun to see the variety of sites preserved.
Such a beautiful area and nice time!
Looks like a fascinating place - love how the trail and some of the steps were carved into the rocks. The inscription wall is very cool - it would be hard to only have two hours there! Nice to have Kayla help with the narration!
Such a special trip with her. Kayla is such a trooper! :) Thanks for the comment. Hope you guys have a fantastic week!
That looks like fun!
Sure was, Mike! Some neat relatively unknown sites in New Mexico. Take care!
always enjoy your exploration in national parks.. this one is so pretty park too
Appreciate that very much!
Awesome places! People will need to be fit to go this route!
Good luck
Alexey
Yes, some steep uphills, but so worth it when you get to the top! Have a nice day!
Yeah! Living the Golden Rule. Thanks for sharing an example of LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself.
Amen! Appreciate the edifying words. I feel like such a selfish guy, so only by His grace!
That was cool helping out you pushed that wheel barrel quite a ways i to am greatful for the work they put in to keep the trails nice and going and the cool/great content you gise put out thank you stay safe and never stop exploring!!!👌 Much Love from Albuquerque NM...
Thanks! Enjoyed our time in NM!
That trail map that you looked at in the visitor center was very detailed and nicely made. This look like a really cool park in the middle of nowhere. This trail had a lot to see and I appreciate you showing me it. Really glad that you're doing videos in New Mexico because I have not explored it at all yet. Thanks for sharing Randy.
Neat, Eric, hope you can get to that state in the future! It surely is a place that most people know very little about. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Clockwise definitely looks like it was the way to go. What an interesting and incredible place! I cant believe how much there is to see! Even Capitol Reefs main wall only had a few inscriptions. This is phenomenal that so many are preserved here.
Thanks! It's a relatively unknown place. Beautiful, historical and easy to experience in a 1/2 day. Hope the family had a nice Thanksgiving!
I was born and raised it Puerto Rico until the age of 16 but then moved to USA....I would love for you to visit “El yunque National Rainforest! I went there this past summer with my 16 year old son and we had a good time. It was beautiful and different than what we’re used to
Neat to hear! We have a lot of Puerto Ricans in our church. One recently came back with amazing pictures of a rainforest they hiked last summer. Perhaps it's the same one. Extremely beautiful! Thanks for the suggestion!
Americas Parks el yunque is the only rainforest in USA! It was very nice and you’re very welcome ☺️
woooooo.. i love the stciker hahahahah great one.. as seen on TV change to.. As seen on UA-cam.. cooolll
Thanks, couldn't resist that one! It sure was catching a lot of attention.

That was a cool place. Really enjoyed all the History there, all the cravings would have been neat to see. I love it when you can get the hardest part of the Trail out of the way first lol Thanks for taking us along.
Appreciate that, buddy! Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving!
@@AmericasParks no problem. Hope y'all did as well!
Amazing place. I did not know about it. Good job pushing that wheelbarrow!

Good to serve the folks that do so much to serve us.
Another historic site for us Zuni people you got to visit!
It sure was a special time for us to be there! Beautiful and enjoy learning about your culture!
That's it...I'm going to New Mexico! It's to cold for these mountain parks! Great clip once again Randy. Decided I want to hit these parks next fall.better weather and parks stacked on top if one another. Sounds like a good combination!
Nice to convince you so quickly! I still have 6 more videos to upload! :) Trust you and the family had a great Thanksgiving!
@@AmericasParks hope yours was great also.already doing lots of research on the area.im sure I will pick your brain on the area someday but your clips will do in the meantime.
@@RobertLWardHappy to help! Looking at Washington State this summer for the big trip. Taking Natalie.
...and I just noticed THE MERCH is available!
Yeah, when I hit 10K I was able to access what they call the "shelf." Christmas gifts? haha!
@@AmericasParks I would love to buy some but I am not finding it, please help!!

@@AmericasParks I can't see it on my computer. Will have to try on another one. He is doing a little better today. Thanks. We need to see a spine surgeon.
Ok, I got my Christmas order done, thanks!!!
Very interesting spot, Pastor Randy -- God's beauty never ceases to amaze! Also, excellent editing; Kayla did a great job sharing the narration.
Always blessed by your comments my dear brother! Thank you!
I think this video was really Kayla’s audition tape to be the new narrator for National Park Visitor Center Videos. Which would be pretty cool.
Love it! Need to share those kind words with her tonight Enjoy your weekend! !
Amazing rocks! The stairs are quite a workout. Great job on the narration Kayla 👍 Always up for a new challenge Randy ah ah. The inscriptions are really cool and nice this woman lived to tell her story (and engrave it forever).
Thanks for the beautiful comment! Hope all is well with the family! Stay safe out there!
My favorite part is where you push the wheelbarrow for the guys.
Happy to help them! :)

Thanks! Hope you enjoy your week. Will need to stop by your channel...
Great Vlog!! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽
Thanks so much and hope you had a relaxing holiday!
Ya keep improving w/the editing. Cool place for a location I'd assume very few people visit. How far was this from the last place with the bats?
Thank you! It was in that same general area. I believe less than 1 hour. All in western NM.
