Really cool Building, nice pait job and absolutely great video. I like the cuts.i downloaded the trampled and i rebuild the container definitely.
Best regards Chicken
Cheers mate! Make sure to let me know how it turns out, I'm really keen to see what others do with the design!
Wow your builds are awesome! Looking forward to more terrain builds of this quality!
You are too kind! Don't forget to grab your own templates from my website.
Superb!
In a classic case of perfect timing, I'm just modelled up a shipping container in Autodesk revit for a job I'm doing 😀
Yours seems more fun though!
If you use it, make sure I get to see what you do, thats the main reason for sharing the design.
@@WulvenKraft Unfortunately it's just for my day job, so won't be anything hobby related 😞
Though would be interesting to know if can use these models to be 3D printed 🤔
@@gdonaldson26 If you can model it from the template, I'd love to see it!
Great Build What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
I generally use Army Painter paints but honestly, I'll use anything that I don't have to colour mix. I even use Liquitex Basics for a lot of stuff.
As for brushes, generally whatever I have to hand. Usually as cheap as possible & as the degrade they get used for different purposes.
You, my friend, keep going with the jams. I'll get started on a shipping container later today.
Are you on Instagram? Tag me in any photos, I'm keen to see what you do!
@@WulvenKraft I am not, but then again, I'm not really on any socials.
@@nightcitycrafts I'm right there with you. I habe Instagram as people reach out to me on occasion. I am not a fan of social media that has become antisocial.
I think it's so impressive, thjat you made an update video. Really shows that you care about your community and also about improving. Thanks for being a great creator!
Always striving to make things better!
Phenomenal job brother 👍. Love it
Thank you Sir!
Can you tell me what music you used? I'd like to use it for some shorts content I'd like to develop
Unfortunately I have no idea what it's called, 'Tangled' something think. I have renamed the file, I have also chopped the track up to be able to use it on long form videos.
I forgot 🤣 its from the UA-cam library.
@@WulvenKraft just found it!!! Thanks for your help!!
I like that it feels heavy. And the strong weathering is also looks cool on this piece.
Cheers! I'm a big fan of contrast, plus I feel it makes models feel older & heavily used.
Yet another great build, advice and video buddy! Loving that intro 🤌👍 keep smashing it 👍😆
Cheers RIG! That intro is so easy to film but has taken months to figure out 🤣
A great tutorial! Might have to make some for myself! There is a lot of screen tearing in the main part of the video, is that an effect or a hardware issue? Subscribed and will check out more of your videos :)
Cheers Jo. If you're on Insta tag me in a photo, I'd love to see what you do with it!
I do use screen tears when editing, I like the older VHS look.
@@WulvenKraft I'll take a look at your Instagram too! Great stuff. This might just be me, but the vhs effect was a little distracting, and no lies I re started my browser thinking it was an issue my end! 🤣
@@BlindedbyDaylight Aye, I have been looking at it again. I think in this case there is a 'depth of field' issue with my camera settings, something I am getting used to & working hard to resolve. I have a feeling that the flickers are being caused by the lines on my cutting mat when my camera tries to focus.
@@WulvenKraft what camera are you using? I don't have that issue with myset up, always happy to talk shop on Instagram
So good mate
Cheers Mr Aide!
This intro is baller
Cheers! I spent months trying to figure out how to make this kind of intro work. I spent hours actually making it happen, but now it's a very easy thing to replicate. Check out my last #short, it's dead easy!
Honestly well done buddy. So many terrain videos just don't show what is possible in terms of fine detailing. Keep up the fine detail and those subs will keep flying in!!! May I suggest some broken buildings, but with the level of detailing and greebling you've put in here, all the building tuts are great but it always annoys me with the flat Walls or the need to 3D print windows. An actual gothic building would be golddust
Cheers Mona! I am trying to get more & more detailed with each build & its important to me that they a cheap as chips, the only real cost being time. That said I am 3D printing 30 windows for a display piece 🤣. i am also planing Gothic builds without the use of a 3D printer.
What did you use for FILLER
The easy answer is I use Filler. For more detail. Ever Build One Strike a litre tub. As it inevitably dries out I add water to reactivate it.
Nice video! Nice container! Nice crafting process! The intro is awesome! Hehehe. And I like a lot the environement yellow, black and purple colors. Gives an special atmosphere, very Wulvenkraft. Thanks to share!
Thank you Joaquim! That intro took hours, but actually very easy to replicate, I am positive you will see more like it haha.
1mm foam core... eek, where the heck can I find something equivalent over here in Canada...
foam core over here is sold as poster board, and is usally closer to 5mm.
I suppose I could still use that, but would need to make much bigger changes to some pieces... hmmmmm
The only Foam Core I can buy is 5mm too, I can't even buy the cheap stuff that is easy to rip of the paper 🤣. If memory serves I switch the Foam Core for Chip Board when its that small. Even cutting foam to 1mm is difficult using a hot wire table. You could even use Plasticard if you don't want to use Chip Board, but everything I make I try & do it for as cheap as possible.
@@WulvenKraft I'm finding 90% of crafters are UK or USA, and they just have more stuff than we do in Canada. No real source for chipboard, mdf, foam, etc. Well, other than crazy overpriced craft stores, or industrial suppliers...
I keep searching though!
@@nickrafuse984 I assume you have Legal Pads or A4 pads of paper? You can use the card / Chip Board from the back of those. The templates can be easily adapted for the material you deicide to use. Check out @BlackMagicCraftOffical He has some interesting sources for people in Canada.
@@WulvenKraft yeah, we have them here but they're often really thin super flexible card board that's not much better than cereal box.
I've watched blackmagic before, I'll have to find his materials videos. thanks!
Can I see some Lego in that other gun turret. Grand job 👍
Haha, aye there's a bit of Lego in there.
Such awesome work
Thank you Sir
Man, this build is more complex than it looked like. But it's all worth it. Nice one.
Aye, its well thought out haha. It took a while to figure out but it was worth it, they look great on the table.
The base octagonal structure would totally work as the 'bones' for an octagonal stone tower (which is totally going into the build queue). Having used GW contrast paint as a filter for armour models (the longer drying time means you can treat it like enamel washes if you don't take too long), might have to try the AP speed paints and the reactivation trick.
Any part of the templates you find useful, for what ever your intention, I'm happy to help!
Messing with the reactivation was the first thing I did when I saw everyone complaining about it 🤣. If you leave it too long & water doesn't work, a very light touch of meths will do the job.
dude why do u have under 1k subs...this is redokulus!! really nice build..im reconsidering my container build. this looks super simple, just a bit of time!! very very nice!
Cheers, I salute you!
@@WulvenKraft thank you too kind. im trying to download your templates but i cant get it...sigh old computer old OS...sigh ah well

@@WulvenKraft wow what a champion!! do you have face book? that all i have, i boomed out when i was 16 bro...
@@WulvenKraft roger PDF please incoming!!
incredible complex stuff sorry man too advanced for me
If I can do it, anyone can, I'm a moron 🤣
I am currently making it
Enjoy 🤣. I've got a few now, very useful.
@@WulvenKrafttakes so much time, I am puting spackle now, waiting to dry
@@moxopal5681 Everything worthwhile takes a little time. It's the end result that matters. I've found after the first one, making multiples at a time is really efficient & that extra time really pays off considering it's just a couple of sheets of chipboard.
@@WulvenKraft If I ever make another one, I am using putty not spackle
@@moxopal5681 Put it down & go & do something else 🤣. It's rare when crafting everything can be done in a couple of hours & honestly who's got that time. Everything I do I do 30-45 mins spells.
Great job, mate! It does look incredibly well explained ;)
Cheers Calapet! It's a massive upgrade to my original design, it a fair while to formulate but its an easy construction.
Very good step-by-step video. Keep up the good work!
Cheers Mr. Miller!
