You get over 1k mostly by using build orders. People around 900 - 1000 are often much lower than they should be because of a lack of build orders. But build orders don’t effect the late game so these players sometimes can surprise higher rated players by being decent in the late game

He;s so good that I think he discounts the power of walling to dictact the location of fights in his favor, vs leaving gaping holes for power cav to stroll into his turf with minimal effort. Also loved when you were like "this is how Genghis Khan felt IRL btw" .... was _totally_ thinking that exact same thought myself at one point, as castles were just crumbling everywhere, and a tidal wave of cavalry was gradually engulfing the plain.
I think doing this on regicide would be really fun, it would be easier for you to take players out, but it would also provide opportunities for people to try and sneakily assasinate your king while you are focused on attacking other players

If you try 10* civ shared buff. And go 1v 7 ai post imp start last man standing unfriend all and Ty to survive. All 8 players get the buff. I think it's impossible to beat the 7 ai. Even stacked for your own benefit. The AI get the stacks too. I wonder what the top pro thinks

1k are actually very decent players. I couldn't believe the outcome of last game and this one was equally impressive.
they were making trade carts in castle age on 4v1 arabia lol. they know to make pikemen when scouts attack, ill give them that much
In the current scene I've noticed that ~900-950 elo is comparable to Extreme AI. The median skill level is much higher than it used to be.

i do not believe those 4 people where 1k+ , if so, then maybe with 3 games, i only see trade carts in feudal online when people have no rank at all^^
