Thank you for your question. Your temperament can certainly be affected by trauma. But what changes is your personality or the way you respond to different environments. Picture your temperament like an oak tree that is planted in your neighborhood. It can be affected by the environment, storms, etc. but it is still an oak tree. The branches and leaves can be like our personality. There are seasons of blossoming and seasons of falling off. Hope that helps.

I'm a Choleric-Melancholic. ESTJ in Myers Briggs. Outside, I am somehow domineering, fiery, born-leader, confident, charismatic, perfectionist, organized and seem emotionless. To people's surprise, I am actually a soft ball, a little over stressed out, and overall, a sad person deep inside. When helping someone I tend to give my all. And be very stressed out when things don't go well. I secretly take things very personally.
This is me I'm a Cho-San and sincerely, I have read Tim LaHaye's book 'why you act the way you do" and have been a student of Temperament for a few uears now. I've come to find out that having a partner who's a student of temperament will help you more and foster your growth, else, it's a very Painful process. Thanks for this Sir I'm subscribimg now
Wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!! This has literally blown me away!!! I am just learning about the 4 temperaments. For me, this has been such an eye opener and explains why my husband and I were attracted to each other yet we seem so poorly matched. It has also helped me understand myself and him. Now, the task of learning how to manage our differences and meet each others needs. Just, such amazing stuff I've learned. So excited I feel like I could jump out of my skin.
Being a coleric can be a blessing and a curse. I give suggestions and advice and when I get ignored it bothers me. I am very loyale and a very hard worker. I will get things done. I am learning to let go, but my energy level (needs) can drive me crazy. So glad I am learning about other Temperaments so I can learn how to get along better with others.

Who's choleric to work together?
👍
should a choleric take care of an elderly person? considering that the elderly are vulnerable to emotional abuse
Noooo...keep them away from the elderly, children, dogs and other humans.
