But I also think that Venus and her mother are savvy to Meghan's use of Serena to "black her up"/back her up. [If you look at pictures of Meghan before Harry she is very light-skinned--no black friends, boyfriends, or acquaintances]. Meghan saw the potential advantage of taking down the monarchy by playing the race card--Venus and her mother know this. There is footage of Meghan sitting next to Serena's mother at a major tennis match and it is awkward! MM is trying to engage in conversation with Mrs. Williams and the lady basically ignores her. You can't change horses mid-stream--why did it take her 40+ years to identify as a woman of color? She has used the excuse that her "acting careeer" would have suffered, please you are not Sidney Potier, trailblazing actor! The film industry has been celebrating ethnic diversity for decades [they just need to get the pay equality on board].

As for the Royal visit to Jersey, I find the interaction between our 👑 King and 👑 Queen completely adorable. They are so precious 💞. As for our beautiful Princess of Wales, it was a fabulous standing ovation in her honour. It just shows how high a regard she is held and is much loved by the British Public. Prince William supporting our National team was great to see along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte accompanying her mother. Superb. 💞💞💞💞

Venus was sitting right next to Harry and she was not afraid to reveal how she feels and looks. She was so obvious that you know Megan and Harry refused to look at her and kept their eyes straight ahead.

One reason for the side-eye from Venus is that Meghan was wearing the same dress Venus had worn to another gala event just a few weeks ago. But I also think that Venus and her mother are savvy to Meghan's use of Serena to "black her up"/back her up. MM did not identify a a woman of color until she got involved with Harry and the British press made it a talking point. [If you look at pictures of Meghan before Harry she is very light-skinned--no black friends, boyfriends, or acquaintances]. Meghan saw the potential advantage of taking down the monarchy by playing the race card--Venus and her mother know this. There is footage of Meghan sitting next to Serena's mother at a major tennis match and it is awkward! MM is trying to engage in conversation with Mrs. Williams and the lady basically ignores her. You can't change horses mid-stream--why did it take her 40+ years to identify as a woman of color? She has used the excuse that her "acting careeer" would have suffered, please you are not Sidney Potier, trailblazing actor! The film industry has been celebrating ethnic diversity for decades [they just need to get the pay equality on board].
