Perfect parking lot plow but thinking it would be great for municipalities who have open roads but also have tight area that have to be cleared as well, when we purchase our next truck I am thinking I'm going to push for this new ext. good work boss plows
The Boss EXT is the worse expandable plow on the market, moldboard twist, welds break, hose problems. If you want an expandable, get a Fisher XLT, Western Wideout or Snow Ex Power Plow. If you need a Boss Plow stick to their straight or V plows.
after watching "chants daily hustle" have issues with his, and finding more issues online, i went with a wideout. we'll see how the cutting edge wears.
There is a difference between design flaws and operator issues. If you use a snowplow right, and not ram in to large snowbanks, curds or potholes at higher speeds, you will never have problems. I am not saying you are wrong, and i haven't see or heard problems with it

i have accounts in 3 different states and am based just north of indy! you should let me use one of those to promote it
This fit a half ton?
No, it weighs 970 pounds, and some newer 3/4 tons need even some ballast
Love it already
Does it use the standard boss v-plow controller or will you need a new controller?
+sledneck24x You will need a new controller for the EXT. The wings will have independent buttons for ease of use.
why get a ext over a dxt? isnt the dxt a 10ft V??
9'6" when straight, much smaller when in V
DXT comes in 8'2 9'2 and 10, but the 10' is recommended for 1 ton trucks, while the EXT can go on 3/4
