This song has been ministering to me for the past few days...I should have known better than to listen to it in my office at work!!! Students looking at me like I’m crazy!!! My Lord today!!! EVEN ME LORD!!!
I thank God for the ministry of this choir. They don't oversing this song. They don't under sing it either. There are no unnecessary theatrics or fancy choreography.
Their interpretation of this song is simply exceptional and anointed.
Choirs like this today are not common.
It doesn't matter how many times I listen to this song, I burst into tears. I am so grateful to GOD that HE let some drops fall on me..... HALLELUJAH!!!!

I cry every time I here this song because when I look back over my life being the only child being an army brat in Germany came back to the States growing up in an abusive home walking to an fro to find refrudge waywordly yet God still protect me in the midst of it all threw his holy angels I just close my eyes and ball into tears when I here this song.

Hand gestures don't detract from the anointing, in fact they lend to the fact that they were personally feeling a connection to the Lord while singing His praises. It's all about Him you know!

You can do almost anything with those harmony lines, any order, and dynamic. It's just four exquisitely beautiful lines S,A,T&B. Each one has it's own tension and release and melodic journey.

.. First off hands don't sing .. for those who aren't using your ears to listen this is just my opinion .. The words from the mouth is what I hear .. That being said .. Its even me lord that needs a drop of blessings to fall on me .. This is a touching song the hand movements doesn't distract me at all .. Beautiful voices singing unto our lord ..
There are so many positive points about this video, the choirs singing is excellent, their pronounciation is even better and the fact that they are young people singing a hymn with conviction and authority is a hugh blessing to witness. I love the fact that they are not leaning on the heavy choreography to get the song over, they're just using their God given talent to truly sing this song and I appreciate it. The musicians and the director are flawless. Keep up the great work HGC.

the dissonance/resolution on 'Me" is so sweet! The subtle nuances that Howard uses and the well-blended unisons were amazing! Very worshipful.

This song is so amazingly done. My heart felt it as soon as they begin to sing. The sound is clean and precise. This song could maybe save a soul,even though it was recorded a while back. Keep up the work. Im so glad I found this at 4 in the morning. Trust me I wasn't distracted by anything.

I love this hymn so much. The choral arrangement of this hymnody. The voice leading and pairings of voices against and with the main melodic material is absolutely genius writing. The change of texture within the voices and the piano, which also imcumbasses dynamic shiftings. This song has to be taught right and the director has to have a solid ear when teaching this and the musicians have to play the chord structures in the right voicing for the parts to flourish.
