This episode also shows why it took so long for Moxie to call Blitzø by his name and not "sir." He's been forced into using it for the main authority figures in his life up to this point. Also, notice how quietly Moxxie cries, even when he's full on sobbing. People who come from abusive homes tend to learn how to break down quietly, so they don't attract the abuser's attention and get into even more trouble.
That little detail really got to me on my first watch, yeah. Poor Mox. :c

I'm starting to think the reason Millie is more well put together then everyone else in the main cast is because she doesn't have daddy issues.
I mean, Moxxie is honestly also rather well put together, usually only not because of Blitz harassing him.
20:07 the imp moxxie killed is most likely not his mom because that imp has male horns (male imps have white and black horns while female imps have black horns with white slim white stripes) but crimson probably was the one who drowned her in the lake

I love how after Millie heard how Chaz betrayed Moxxie, she was almost inconsolably angry, she didn't care that they dated, but the fact that he did that to HER husband? Hell no. It just shows how deeply they care about each other and honestly, Millie and Moxxie is one of my favourite couples ever.
Love how she is protective of Moxxie. They are adorable together

I love how Blitzø came to the realization Chazwick was hiding something because the thought of Chazwick scoring "two hotties" like Millie and Moxxie is too unbelievable.

Blitzø says "the babysitter will kill me if I'm late" but we know that he didn't adopt Loona until she was 17. It's absolutely killing me to imagine him hiring a babysitter for a seventeen-year-old. A small detail, but the mental image is priceless. Millie's "how I met your father" story would be hilarious if she was Loona's babysitter.
Considering how overprotective he is, he would absolutely have a babysitter for loona lol. Especially, right after he adopted her.

This was a very intense episode. Moxxie's line "Maybe like a shitty Dad, or a mob family" in Season 1 Episode 1 hits a lot differently now. Poor Moxxie deserves a far better childhood than the cruel one fate dealt him.

There is also the line about how he was 'dreaming about his parents being murdered and he would like to get back to that.' Having a nightmare about his mom being killed, but then with enough lucidity for Moxxie or someone else to avenge her right after.
The imp in the boat that gets killed is someone else, not Moxxies mom. But she did get killed off by his dad earlier.

Moxxie didn't kill his mom. The imp that's in the bag has a different tail and horns than Moxxie's mom - judging by the horn stubs, it's probably a male. My guess is that either Crimson killed his wife earlier, possibly when she first disappeared (and her shoe just resurfaced due to water movement after the other body dropped) or she's in that bag Crimson had in the boat too. But probably the former :x
10:19 don't forget in episode 1, Moxxie says about killing a family, 'Maybe if it was a shitty dad, or a mob family'. It's honestly impressive how much they planned this show out

While I think it’d be super cute, I don’t think it was Millie purely from the way Millie treats Loona. She can be a bit…well the best word I can think of is racist, in particular referring to Loona as “the hellhound” instead of by name more than once.

Crimson didn't make Moxxie kill his own mom. If you look at the broken horns sticking out of the head bag, they are male stripped, not female. So it was some other random dude Moxxie was pushing over the side of the boat. But his mom was among the dead in that lake

i remember you saying “its fine if there isnt much action in s2” well buckle up sir 😆 although you’re right to guess a lot of it will be backstories of the characters, they haven’t forgotten how to do fight scenes 🔥

This is one of my favorite episodes, mostly because of Millys kickass fight scene and the song.

Also trans Imps tend to change their hair color but the horns stay the same like Millie's sister Sally May.

S1E2 is starts with a flashback to Octavia's childhood that transitions into her parents fighting. S2E2 starts with a flashback to Octavia's childhood that transitions into her parents fighting (but this time Stolas can fight back)
It's a shame that the harvest moon and western energy doesn't match episode numbers, that would have been great.

The imp Crimson made Moxxie drown in the lake wasn't his mom, it was some male imp (pay attention to the thick white stripe of the horn-stumps, Moxxie's mom and other female imps have black horns with thin white stripes unless they're trans, besides that the imp's body shape was different from hers too)
The white and pink shoe floating up at the end of the lake scene was hers though, implying that Crimson had already drowned her by then
You definitely don't talk too much, and personally I always like when reactors talk about what they're reacting to. It always feels like I'm watching a show with a friend and we're having a discussion. Or like showing your friend a show/movie you like and hearing their commentary as they watch.

I have only watched your Hazbin and Helluva Boss reacts, but I am planning on going back and watching your other videos. Helluva Boss and Hazbin are just my current fixations. You have a very soothing voice and your reactions always seem so genuine and sincere and understanding.
Also your clothing seems very cozy and comfortable. I like your style and personally don't think you need to change it for the channel unless you personally want to. As someone who dresses very loud and eclectic, I do really like when people have a sense of self and are comfortable in whatever their personal style is.

So yeah, Moxxie's Dad made him kill his own mother as a way of forcing him to fall in line. Its why I am so surprised that the man actually managed to survive Mille at the end of the episode. No matter how you slice it, Moxxie's Dad is 100x worse than Chaz in every way.

The Imp Crimson made Moxxie drown was male not his mom His mother was from Wrath and Moxxie was born thier but raised in Greed. Since Wrath has a flavor of the American southwest and Mexico Moxxie is the equivalent of half Italian half Latino.
That wasn't Moxxie's mom. That imp was male (the base of his horns were white) and his legs were not digitigrade. Crimson (Moxxie's dad) killed her before taking Mox out in the boat.
While it's not quite as terrible, Moxxie was just drowning some random thug with male horns. (Thick white ring) His mom has the female horns of mostly black, with thin white rings. His mom was already drowned, but dumping that thug probably dislodged her shoe, causing it to float up.

Ehhhh I'm not going to go into any detail but I'm going to have to disagree with you on the mob wife thing. Some mafiosos treat their wives well, but I have it on good authority that some do indeed hold no value for their partners, and are straight up abusive. The mob wife thing looks cushy on the surface, but so do a lot of really bad marriages.
