Bann Special

The Bann Special
A must have weapon in the armoury or the "Bannery" if fishing particular rivers in the UK and especially Ireland. Various ways of tying this fly however this is hopefully a good version of the original.
Materials:
Hook: Partridge size 4 Gold Double
Thread: 1.8mm Red
Rear Tag: 0.2mm Silver Wire
Rear Hackle: Pheasant Rump
Rear Body: Rst. Orange Uni Floss 1X
Rib: 0.2mm Silver Wire
Mid Hackle: Orange Cock Hackle
Front Body: Black Uni Floss
Rib: 0.2mm Silver Wire
Front Hackle: Badger Hackle
