Oh man, this is some once in lifetime footage. Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Wish we had better audio/video equipment back then, but it is what it is, and does not take a genius to know this is a magical moment.

can yu tell me how ray got sik, and what was his history with drugs ,i just found him for the first time and what an amazing man... love him and miss him.....was his uncle the one that startedhim on the drugs
tink ie Glenn Hughes was the one with the drug problem, not Ray (as far as I know). Ray died of AIDS, although the press was originally told he died of cancer due to the stigma surrounding AIDS at the time.
Wow I never knew Ray and Glenn got together after Sabbath. Ray unceremoniously replaced Glenn on that disastrous tour so I just figured they never crossed paths again. What year was this? Wonder if Ray was sick yet?
crucify40 after Sabbath they participated as vocalists in the second Phenomena album "dream runner", and in 1992 in "sacred ground" by George Lynch, as guest singers. Beyond any doubt, if Ray wasn't had passed away in 1993, they would have shared more projects together. Sad, because their voices really matched.
Ray Gillen will always be one of my all time favorite singers. RIP Ray
Ray made every song he ever sung amazing. The man was pure talent.
Ray Gillen Great Singer 🎤r.i.p 🎤🙏👊
Glenn "The Voice of Rock"Hughes 🎤😎👊

Glenn is a legend. Just think if Ray was still alive. Gillen was brilliant!
Awesome footage. One got clean and survived, the other had a much worse fate waiting for him. RIP Ray Gillen

I concur! That needs an official release on a Sabbath product! He is SO beautiful in the video and the vocals are phenomenal!

No drugs but Aids. Ray died in 1993
Yes, the drug comment was referring to Glenn Hughes.
A Sound Of Thunder
When someone has AIDS they don't die from AIDS, they die from diseases that AIDS causes. In Ray's case it was stomach cancer.

Glenn understood why he was replaced. They ended up becoming good friends. I've read that Glenn was one of Ray's idols. RIP Ray.
Disastrous? I guess maybe since Glenn got blood in his throat due to a fistfight but Ray saved the day by filling in very well.
RAY avait remplacé GLENN qui, après une Bagarre a perdu sa Voix🤷♀️duo is so great, two wonderful voices🔥it’s just a pleasure listening this🤷♀️💕
