They put different sauces in the lineup for Season 8 - hotter ones. On top of that Ramsey has a more sensitive palate to most people that'll be on this show because he's a chef.
@@Darren.Lindsay Hot sauces don't turn your palate numb. When you eat a lot of chilies, your sensitivity to capsaicin specifically drops somewhat - but no matter how much and how hot you eat, you never become completely insensitive to it. But that decreased sensitivity to capsaicin doesn't affect your perception of other tastes. There are lots of Asian chefs who cook and eat extremely hot, and still have an extremely sensitive palate. Listen to her comments while she's tasting stuff. She obviously feels the heat, but heat is just one side of the taste. She constantly analyzes and looks for the other taste components too. There's just one sauce she's critical of - one that, other than hot, has nothing, with regard to flavor. The next one, even if hotter, she appreciates - because of its richer flavor. It's specifically because she feels the taste despite her mouth burning. Ramsay just comes from a culinary tradition in which hot chilies aren't used as much, and taste in general leans more towards sweet, salty or savory, not so much sour, bitter or hot. (I'd say mostly sweet - the whole Western cuisine gravitates towards sweet.) That's the whole reason he's not as used to hot, and has a lower tolerance for capsaicin. Look at small children eating a lemon for the first time in their lives. You'll see that sour can cause similar reactions, if you're not used to it. If you eat a long time without added salt, a mouth full of salty potato chips can make you barf in an instant. It's all a matter of how used you are to one particular substance.

PewDiePie nani? Look I like Pewds a lot, but one thing I feel his channel takes down a lot for me is the whole simp thing. The word has been overused so much to the point where if you talk to a woman you’re considered a simp. Complimenting someone and complimenting someone expecting to score goals with them later is a much different thing. A correct usage of the word I feel is Pokimane, the Queen of Simps, which I feel is true. If you donate to a female streamer, I don’t think you’re a simp, but if you spend all of your life savings donating to someone simply because you find them attractive, that is definitely what you call a simp. A woman calling another woman hot isn’t simping, and not even necessarily a man calling a woman hot is considered simping. Like come on, you’ve never thought someone was attractive before? Everybody has. That doesn’t make you a simp at all.
I'm so happy for Sean. I can just imagine what a boost in confidence it might have been for him, for the cook and all the team, receiving those compliments from freaking Charlize Theron! @@rugfixr I understand what you mean, but my point is: Certain complimenting words coming from the right person's mouth (a highly awarded, praised and successful actress for example) can be very influential in this business. And I'm such a fan of the channel that I feel good for them.
@@sniffyjoe4229 i think for them it’s more of a representation bc we don’t see a lot of South Africans in Hollywood and we don’t hear them speak their language. lil vah head Afrikaans it’s an African language
Listening to her speak Afrikaans is an honor of the highest levels
Anyone notice at the end the second Charlize said she liked a sauce Sean told them to put it in her bag? So wholesome
Holy fuck, I was expecting this to be super manufactured and rigid. She seems so warm and happy to be on the show. By far one of the best so far.
charlize is one of the nicest and friendliest people out there in hollywood, she does not like drama, and she wants her life to be as simple as possible if she can possibly help it, she likes calm surroundings and nice people
R.L. Steinfeld that's how she always seems. A lot of actresses and actors you see interviews, etc off screen (or meet them in person) and they are nothing as you imagine, in a bad way. She seems solid on screen and off.
she's like this in every interview ever, as long as the person interviewing her isn't a bag of dicks
R.L. Steinfeld rip Ryoma you were a real one
She's is funny as hell. Between two Ferns is a classic. She is very cool. And painfully hot.
Now you snag an Oscar winning Actress. Damn Sean, making moves
I really want a keanu reeves episode i'll love to see him try this hot wings
A Nobody thats a great fucking idea
I absolutely agree with you!!
Think of the gifs
A Nobody Yes
Keanu is the kind of guy who would just come. He wouldn't be promoting anything.
Just binging on old episodes and Charlize I feel was one of the first really really big a-list celebs that came on the show when it still wasn't so popular. usually these celebs only go when bunch of other big names have already been so props to her!
She just gets more and more beautiful with age. I love when her face lights up talking about her home in South Africa. Good job guys!
Its amazing what being filthy rich does for your skin
undertowsoul dunno, I'm from South Africa and its pretty shitty
I dont see why, with the killings of white people there and the fact that blacks can now steal the farms of white people legally...
Z R History's just repeating itself, just with blacks killing whites and stealing their land/homes. Im not trying to justify what they're doing, im just saying what went thru my mind reading your comment.
sara lopez We should be learning from past mistakes not repeating them ffs.
She's so effortlessly classy with her posture and way of speaking.

Hammad Ali Ha!
Can’t blame him. Gorgeous lady who’s down to earth and doesnt try to act classier than everyone always
John L she dropped her accent for an LA accent
Well, none of us would even stay coherent with her across the table, just sayin'
"That's a dick move right there." Greatest line in the history of this series.
I was just going to write the same thing. Perfect line about Da Bomb. Especially if you've ever tasted that crap.
Na when she said "that's a fcker!" On that last wing 🤣
She's so down to earth, for a person exposed to so much fanfare.
It's admirable.

Can we just legit acknowledge Sean as a celebrity amoung celebrities?? He is such a great interviewer that he has garnered the well-deserved respect that he gets from people who interview ALL THE TIME. I've gone through most of the prior seasons and I just just love him.
This was so…idk, authentic. I really enjoyed this episode, Sean is such an amazing host🙌
I love how this show brings some celebrities real personalities out. She is totally different to what I expected. Easily one of my favourite episodes
Totally, the swearing and real laughs really bring the humanity out of celebrities.
She’s really like that on every talk show for the most part. Down to earth and approachable as you can see everyone coming up to her at the end.
Thing is talk shows in the USA are mostly written in advance and don't let the guest talk freely as they would usually do in everyday life. Podcasts and shows like Hot Ones feel less artificial.
Beeblebrox That is true. Plus they let their guard down bc they aren’t thinking and just speaking like they would behind close doors bc they’re in pain from the sauce.
Joey fucking Diaz
You should put a link in the description to buy the sauces. Just a hungry stoners opinion.

Sean blows my mind every show, he is such a great Host!!!
gffted he’s a great interviewer
One could say he's.... gffted
I expected her to be attractive (duh), and smart...but I didn't expect her to be nearly this personable. You would never know that she was one of the greatest actresses of our generation based on this interview. She's just...I'm a bigger fan now simply because of how genuinely lovely she is. Holy crap, Charlize Theron is a gem.
Jhoxi Hum lol what the fuck is wrong with you?
Matthew Brulla Totally agree, lovely is the right word. It's hard as hell to be graceful and personable at the same time, especially during a pain tolerance challenge. She pulled it off very well. Looks, class, grace and even proper taste in flipping off and cursing out that universally despised sauce! She knows what's what, I'm a bigger fan now as well.
Matthew Brulla you're so right The best people are always personable and humble.
Jhoxi Hum FUCK OFF TROLL
Jhoxi Hum your avatar and demeanor spell it out clearly; I am a conservative and honestly you disgust me. Seek counselling because you have some deeply manifested issues.
They literally had a voice over saying "jou ma se poes" when it was burning 😂😂😂😂 this show has the best editors.
Yup.... 😂
I've watched several episodes, this is one of the best for sure! So many awesome details that can't be all quoted on a comment! Kudos to all guys involved
Sean Evans- you are really pioneering the "interview" genre. I felt your reverence for Charlize, but also wholly respect the fact that you got 'the story'. Walking that fine line is dated. YOU walk a super-fine line of the honest reaction. I respect that. Please keep it coming.
This show...has a way of taking perfectly courteous, mild-mannered guests...and turning them into potty-mouthed lunatics in the span of 9 minutes... love it
So...you're not talking about Charlize then, right?
I know right, Even Gordon Ramsey turned potty mouth.
When you bring the black rapper out of neil degrasse tyson then you know you're doing something good
When your mouth starts on fire five minutes before your colon is engulfed in flames becoming a potty mouth is bound to happen.

@@Memebox711 a Pewdiepie fan saying this childish thing, what a surprise lmao
Simp

She's just a normal human being man. She farts and stuff. Difference is you could bottle her fart and get 10g's
@@rugfixr I understand what you mean, but my point is: Certain complimenting words coming from the right person's mouth (a highly awarded, praised and successful actress for example) can be very influential in this business. And I'm such a fan of the channel that I feel good for them.

I am a South African and I am so proud right now to hear her speak in Afrikaans
Why does that make you proud, it’s not odd for a South African to speak Afrikaans is it?
@@sniffyjoe4229 i think for them it’s more of a representation bc we don’t see a lot of South Africans in Hollywood and we don’t hear them speak their language. It makes them proud to see and hear someone with that high status in a country different than theirs and to hear someone speak a language they only (most likely) hear at their home country.

Thing what I love about UA-cam, is that everyone knows it's not TV. Not everything has to be perfect and all that, and that is what makes it more attractive. I like that the guests on this show, no matter how famous they are, know that too, and let go of the formal bullshit during this. It's pretty fucking amazing 😊

No one is crazy about Da Bomb. Stuff is made like how he said when talking about the Last Dab, where they just shove all the extract they could in it while adding zero flavoring whatsoever. It's just hot for the sake of being a jackass.
Theron swearing like a trooper ... just makes the world complete! 😍😍🤣🤣😂😂😍😍🤣🤣😂😂😍😍
Shes that rare combination of beauty, brains, class but can still swear like a trooper and its not off putting.
