    Just curious buddy I know you know what you're doing I love your videos your works amazing do you think you should have made more shallower face notch and that would have helped or no just curious your opinion thank you so much God bless my friend

      Hey b r, I had a guy with me that was learning to cut trees so I had to correct the face cut which made it pretty deep. A shallower one would have helped a bit, but it still would have failed. When there is excessive rot within a tree, or other than ideal wood grain due to knots or the tree species, this type of stuff will happen. Just wanted people to make sure they are evaluating their trees before cutting them, especially around structures.
