Hi Chris: My large K01 8mm hood is too tight, but my XL K01 hood is too loose. The XL lets in water, which defeats the purpose of wearing a hood. The L keeps the water out, but it's so tight it makes my chin and jaw hurt, and it does not stretch out at depth. Is it possible or advisable to trim it around the face opening to relieve this?
What didn't you like about them? Honestly just curious. I actually did a dive in the 5/4mm gloves today in 36F water and I was pleasantly surprised by them. Had not dove with them in a longtime. My drysuit with drygloves is in for repair so I was stuck with wet gloves.
