Yknow its actually quite the discussion because he just did an Alexander the great really, took over a powerfull Nation (strongest of Europe by population alone) and adapted to make sure everyone followed him without complaining both his original partisans and the ones he took over. Sure Alexander was already a monarch but it doesnt change the fact that placing Napoleon in either the last of the great conquerors of old (which well were monarchs) or the first of the modern dictators are valid choices. The reason being that Napoleonic period (at least for Europe and America, technically Asia and Africa went throught it slightly later) is essentially the period of transition between the older time and modern times
distinguishing between a monarch and a dictator is like trying to distinguish a blade of grass from itself as if it was a different blade of grass, it's not, it's the same thing

"Born on an island, and died on one, what an end for a great leader" 🦅🇫🇷
Teacher: who knows anything about Napoleon?
Timmy: (stands up, deep breathe) ♪♫ BORN 1769 IN CORSICA♪
2024 and this shit slaps harder than a leather belt cracking
God i love this singers tone, how he says some words
This song helps me remind myself how above the world I am.
There is nothing we can do.

Bro I need to have this on loop for 10 hours
Really sad that these guys split from Sabaton.
i love civil war and the old sabaton but i think the new sabaton is great too so we have doubled the amount of great music made per year^^
Not really. If they didn't, we wouldn't have Civil war.
Jesper Birch But if they didn't, we would have the old Sabaton, which is ten times better than Civil War, and twice as good as current Sabaton.
As long as Joakim stays, Sabaton will rise back to glory.
It's like asexual reproduction, they split in half and both are now forming into two great bands instead of one, it just takes time for them to recover.
*****
Joakim and Par wrote all the songs of Sabaton...
I actually didn't know about this until I saw a Sabaton interview, but can someone please explain one thing to me ;
If I recall correctly, they broke away from Sabaton because the tours were too much. So... why are they in the industry again?
Well just because they're back in the industry that doesn't mean they will have to tour as intensively as Sabaton does.
Friendly Fire Gaming They do as many tours in one year that sabaton maybe do in a month, it's a hobby for them.
Excellent song, congratulations!!
Awesome song!! Greetings from Argentina!!!
My honest reaction when someone asks me where I see myself in 15 years:
We need more people like him
Great music! As good as Sabaton!
Keep up the good work guys!
Calvin the memer got me here 🎉
Great song, i liked the vocals so i had tto search it, and i found gold
Edit: Strangely, This song, Holy Diver, Winged Husaurs and Art of War are closely similar. Can be easily mixed together. Nice

QUE BANTA TAN IMPRESIONANTE, Y LA VERDAD ES INEVITABLE COMPARAR A CIVIL WAR CON SABATON, PERO TENGO QUE DECIR QUE CIVIL WAR SE QUEDÓ CON ESA ESENCIA, CON LA FUERZA Y EL TALENTO QUE TENÍA LA ANTIGUA SABATON, BIENVENIDO EL NACIMIENTO DE CIVIL WAR, QUE SE CONVIERTE EN UNA DE MIS MEJORES BANDAS... panzer world...
Perfect to listen to while playing Muskets of Europe Napoleon
god damn this is good
Thank you for providing the soundtrack to my conquest...not only will I allow you to keep breathing, I will also see you are adequately compensated for your contribution. Tip of my hat...wink wink...

Best track from the album!
Aucune chance; l’ennemi était trop fort
Napoleon may have thought of himself as a monarch, but in my mind, he’s the western world’s first modern dictator.
Peter the Great? Oliver Cromwell? Heck, by some metrics Sulla, Caesar, Mathius Corvinus and several early modern kings fit the bill.
Suppose the "boss of the world's" first order was disobeyed ?
distinguishing between a monarch and a dictator is like trying to distinguish a blade of grass from itself as if it was a different blade of grass, it's not, it's the same thing
Don’t be jealous of him 😉
Civil War is awesome!
Vive la France
I was looking for the band The Civil Wars when I accidentally came across this song. One of the best accidental finds
Vive L´Empereur!!!!
awesome
Well, I think we all know what the theme song for the new Napoleon movie should be.
Awesome!
There is perhaps no greater lyric than *I' M G R E A T E R T H A N G O D*
One of the best Songs ever!
I love this song so much 🤣 can’t wait to go home and play total war napoleon
I totaly love it .....
Daniel mullback my favourite drummer cant believe hes not in sabaton anymore
This sounds ver nice too!
Hail Civil War & Sabaton!
I am the great Sabaton fan.. but this is Fucking Epic !!!!!!!!
Tomáš Kareš b'cause this song talk about the greatest emperor on earth!
Yes, communism is the strongest form of fascism, even if the left does not want to hear that, because everything is militarized, supervised and human rights are scarce. Dissenters have a hard time there. Stalin was able to win the Second World War for all the reason of the aligned fascist Soviet system.

I don't think the lyrics are online yet, so your best bet would be to get the album. I think they have the lyrics in the booklet too.
