The mpc I rarely use these days cause I still need to upgrade the ram and put a cf card reader on it. The ko33 was from a friend and I barely used it but seemed pretty fun. Do you have any videos or resources on how to actually perform this way? I got an mk2 and I don't like the dj mode. I want to do it old school. How do you do it? Im new too.
You can perform it old school on the MK2 simple all you would have to do is load your completed beat tape or beat set for the event on your 404 and play the tracks live while you add whatever effects and stuff you like like a regular dj would do for example scratches or transitions into another track unless you wanna be extra I guess you could perform the chops and stuff live and drums live as you go but that's hella complicated 😅
