This unassuming track has grown to mean a lot to me over the past few years...
I was raised in a cult, not by any choice I made of course. Upon realizing it was all a lie, the indoctrination wore off and I became extremely angry and depressed. Everything I thought I knew, everything I had learned over the past 18 years, all a fiction. This song helped me mourn the life I could've had, but in turn brought me acceptance, and the knowledge that my free spirit can look forward to many adventures yet.
I know that might make no sense at all, but thanks for this sweet song.
