    Avery good looking engine, Bit of a shame that the coupling rods are assembled upside down on both sides. An easily made mistake which has caught me out more than once thx for showing this video..

      Yes, but no one is supposed to notice!! I realised at the time but as it was such an arse ache of a job, it wasn’t worth the risk to strip it down again. Thanks for reminding me 🤫

      Beautiful model. Really wish Bachmann would release City of Truro to all retailers again. As that's the one I really would like for my layout

    A really nice model and I would like one myself. Why do you run it with the loco plate upright and not resting on the tender ? A Crew would then fit in and it would really finish off + a few headlamps. City of Truro was the first locomotive to achieve 100 MPH but it was not officially recorded. Regards from Ron 🚂👍😃🚂

      The loco plate is a bit stiff and I don't want to risk breaking it. I rarely add any extra details, my eyesight is not what it was and I don't want to risk smothering everything with glue!
