    This game has been sitting on my shelf for awhile. I love this era and i buy games ive never played and save them for a "new experience" later. I found your video because Later has arrived! Thanks for covering it so well!

    I first found your videos through your original channel’s Weedle challenges and was initially saddened when you announced that you weren’t making videos there anymore.
    However these retrospective videos are amazing and are honestly even better than the Weedle videos as they’re opening my eyes to some really cool franchises. Thanks for that and can’t wait for the next one.

      it had to happen sadly :(. and i know it's gonna be a long road to get this channel to where that one was but i've gotta keep steadfast and go with my gut ha.
      and thanks i appreciate it mate been putting in a lot of work to this channel, got a lot of weird games coming up on here in the next couple months too ha.

    Onimusha was the 1st horror game I played & beat. Couldn't handle any Resident Evil or Silent Hill game because I was too scared but Onimusha was my jam! I think because I've always been super into anime and Japanese culture abd being a Samurai with magical powers & powerful swords made me feel much less scared than being a cop with bullets that run out lol

      yeah i think that's why i was so drawn to it... basically resident evil for weebs ha

    Brilliant video as always, this series was amazing, I never really got to grips with 1 but the rest I played constantly, with the last one being the best IMO

      cheers mate :). yeah god the rest of the series is amazing 2 will always be my favourite that game has a amazing level of camp to it ha. think the video on onimusha 2 will be out in May... but when you say the last one do you mean Onimusha 3? or Dawn of dreams? ha

    • @Soas_Records_Official
      @Soas_Records_Official Рік тому

      @@sharpdressedgoblin I meant dawn of dreams, but in all honesty they were all awesome - three is incredible, I especially love the level set in mt st Michel, I wanted to take the Mrs there when we went to Paris a few years ago but it was miles away, intended on proposing there but went with the standard Eiffel tower instead look a total normie

      @@Soas_Records_Official ah nice that's rare most people don't even know dawn of dreams exists ha. i quite enjoyed DOD last time i played it digged how it was more of a rpg. definitely has the vibe of 2 with the level of camp. eiffel tower????? FRANCE??? unbased... only joking that's still nice mate ha

    My favorite version of this game is the Original Xbox exclusive version Genma Onimusha. It has content that wasnt even included in the remaster a few years back.

      You know what I've had that version for a good decade and never played it. I'm thinking about redoing the onimusha vids into a hour and a half video might play it for that.

    I've heard of Onimusha, but wasn't personally intrigued. Judging by the gameplay, you immediately notice that it's from Capcom (Resident Evil, Devil may Cry)

    Wow, I didn't expect this game to be so short. That might explain why even the physical copies are cheap. Gameplay kind of reminds me of Ninja Gaiden Sigma with less jumping.
