Thanks! Been having issues with my Grom half shifting after previous owner jammed the linkage a few too many times :) this should work much much better
Nice vid .. very well explained.. ordered myself a rod and gonna do myself when it arrives.. struggling to find N and need change angle as my new boots bit to wide
Killed it... I looked all over the internet fir my missing parts (which ones idk until now) honda dealership acted like he was clueless and you fab them in 5 😆 get it
Might be a stupid question. But moving the linkage on the spline 1 tooth to eather side should change the hight of the gear selector ?? or am I missing some thing. (Without adding new parts).
I work on cars and bikes... your work is comparable to professionals.
Easily the best video on improving the shift linkage for the Grom! Very well filmed and very detailed content. Thank You so much!

Nicely documented, thank you
Nice job but I don’t have those nice power tools. Maybe one day. Nice shop. Good video.
Thank you! Straight forward, and well documented.
Great shifter upgrade, thx
No problem 👍

Great how-to! Thank you.
I'm going for it!
How is this holding up after some time? Great mod but I wonder over time if you will get slop from the pivoting end joints.
MTJunky so far so good. (And if it gets sloppy it’s a cheap enough part to just replace.)
Has anyone got any feedback about whether this was worth it in the long term? Cheers 🙂
Hi, how long is the stock linkage? Thanks
I would add a little loctite for extra insurance that the nuts don't vibrate loose
Good idea.
how come no one reuses the rubber boot to protect the joint from road debris?
Didn't fit over the new linkage.
How much did this run you?
Eric Carver don’t recall exactly - 10-20$ maybe?
@@stickwallfarm Do you remember what hardware store you purchased the pivoting joint linkage?
