- This is a video conversation between author Jaya Prasada, my elder guru sister and myself in May 2022 at Teertham, Ma's retreat home in the hills. Jaya spent 37 years as close devoted companion to Ma and we are grateful to hear some of her stories from being in Ma's divine presence and service to Her. The book has been published in June 2022.

Dr Jaya Prasada was born on 13 August 1948 in Lucknow, India. She graduated from Loreto College, and earned her master’s degree from the University of Lucknow. In 1981, she did her PhD on Prime Minister Indira Gandhi from the University of Rohilkhand. Jaya lived for thirty-seven years in the closest proximity to the divine mother Sri Siddhi Ma, who inherited the spiritual legacy of Neem Karoli Baba. Her debut book is dedicated to her guru Sri Siddhi Ma and takes us into the life and times of the silent saint of Kainchi. Jaya lives between Kainchi Dham and her hom ‘Teertham’ in Nainital, where Sri Siddhi Ma took mahasamadhi in December 2017. She is an ardent photographer, a keen mountain traveller and likes to keep up with technology.

I have just listened to your interview with Jaya Prasada and I am feeling so touched by Grace. As I listened to Jaya and you speaking, specifically how Siddhi Ma would pay attention to details and how nurturing that felt, I had this profound insight at how Siddhi Ma and Maharaji ARE incarnations of the Divine and how that manifests differently bc of the body God chooses to manifest in, as in male or female, but more importantly they are manifestations of the Divine, God itself. I have known this intelllectually but today it hit my heart as truth itself. Blessed by Sri M, to have Maa's Dharshan, by a group of Satsangi s from Bangalore n Varanasi, when Maa was told, we had come from all the way from Bangalore... She was Happy, in Kainchi Ashram in sep 2017, She took Samadhi in Dec, same year.

I just couldn't hold my tears back once its wiped again i am into that zone during the whole conversation. It feels like i have known her closely and the greatest regret i have since i have known maharaj and MA is not being able to be physical presence of MA nd Maharaji . Although i feel their grace in my heart. ♥️

1.this dec was my first visit to nainital, gurujis ( neem karoli baba) temple was on the cards , but somewhat time was not allowing, so asked for forgiveness with guruji fir not making it, lo driver himself says lets make the trip via gurujis temple.it was gurujis calling..
2. while standing in front of guruji was so peaceful what to say , even though i am not spiritual.
3. on the way back to mumbai via delhi i picked up this spiritual classic ,i am reading it now .its like showing you the path back to eternal peace...jai guru jai ma

Dear Jaya, It's so nice to know about your wonderful contribution in writing about your experiences with Sri Siddhi Ma over so many years. I first met Ma at the Vrindavan NKB ashram in 2002. She came into Maharaji's kuti, but because I did not recognize her, I failed to give her my pranams. Afterwards, she called me into her room and asked me, "Do you know who I am?" Now it is 21 years later and I still do not have an adequate answer to that question. The saint takes birth to open up the enormous reality of the spiritual world to the fallen conditioned soul. Who is God, and what are the characteristics of His devotees? Ma so generously and warm-heartedly spent many interviews with me discussing scriptures like the Srimad Bhagavatam and the the lives of saints like Janabai and Tukaram. I will ever be grateful for that. She also encouraged me to learn about Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu - an ongoing study which has become central to my life. In my last meeting with her in Nainital you, Jaya, asked me "What was her message?" I had made a small book of sayings by Ma collected over a number of years. I believe the last saying in the book is significant for all of us who knew her. She simply said, "Keep going, keep going, keep going!" Now it is our duty - not just to remember her with respect and love - but to continue learning and growing in our own spiritual journeys. Thank you Jaya for your unstinting service to Ma. Hello Nina, thanks for the Video. It’s the sum and substance of whatever is there in the book and a little more too. I absolutely loved reading the book. It had absolutely resolved a lot of my queries that I was encountering for the past few months. It had been a surreal book for me and there were a lot of quotes/Ma’s words that used to bring tears. I feel delighted and fortunate that Maharajji bestowed his connect to me. And, so Maa also came along. I had met Jaya Ji when I went to Kainchi in Jul 17 for the first time. She gave us a tour of the entire kuti with such simplicity. I really wish if the book would have come earlier and I had met Jaya Ji then, I would have touched her feet for the unconditional seva she has done.
