  • Colliers Wood - Sutton outstation (AA)
    Located in Christchurch Road, SW19.
The Colliers Wood outstation opened on 3rd June 1989, it operated the 200, newly awarded to London Buses/London General plus one journey on the 152 on school days - a route otherwise operated by Sutton.
Merton (AL) also used part of the site for additional parking during its modernisation and expansion, however the Merton and Sutton sides were separated by fencing - so there was no mixing of vehicles, maintenance was carried out by Merton.
It had an allocation of MCW Metrobuses, none carried the ‘Suttonbus’ identity.
From 12th November the Sunday operation of the 200 moved to Sutton allowing Colliers Wood to be closed on this day, an M from Colliers Wood was used but with a Sutton driver.
In 1990 from 29th September the 213 and new route 413 were awarded to Sutton along with a first time allocation of M, part of the Mon-Sat share of the 152 and all of the 163 were transferred from Sutton to Colliers Wood, but the 163 didn’t run on Sundays - so Colliers Wood remained closed on this day.
In 1991 from 23rd February the Colliers Wood outstation lost its identity when it was transferred to and added to the routes operated by Merton (AL) along with its vehicles.
The huge Wandsworth route reorganisation was introduced on 25th May.
The work at Merton was completed in September 1991 and Colliers Wood was no longer required - although part of it was subsequently used by Nostalgiabus.

At the end AA operated the following: -
    152 Mon-Sat with D as #AA141+
    152 Sunday no AA allocation
152 Daily with D from Sutton as #A141+
    163 Mon-Sat with D as #AA361+
    163 Sunday - no service
    200 Mon-Sat with M as #AA221+
    200 Sunday no AA allocation
200 Sunday with M from Sutton - joint operation with the 152
From 23rd February 1991 Merton took over full operation of the 152 and 200, Sutton just had a Mon-Fri duty on the 152, so the former Colliers Wood routes were now: -
152 Daily with D/M from Merton as #AL141+
152 Mon-Fri one D from Sutton taken from the 93
    163 Mon-Sat with D/M as #AL361+
    163 Sunday - no service
    200 Daily with M as #AL221+
