One of the reasons I have always loved hanging laundry outdoors is because I notice nature...birds singing, lilacs blooming, how pretty the day is, etc. To me, it beats staying in & using a dryer.
Blu Crystl if it's backwards, I'm all for it. Neatly hung, clean laundry is a pleasant sight for many of us. It's a way to dry laundry that doesn't use any resources & fabric lasts longer..both save money. You may not agree...that's your right...everyone doesn't agree on anything.
Blu Crystl. So you've been pulling my leg, eh? 😊 Well, at my age & scoliosis worsening, I'm more limited what I'm physically able to do but ! Living way out & "roughing it" has always appealed to me. I applaud those who do. We save as much energy as we can & are conscientious about all sorts of things. I loved my grandparents' farm that had no indoor plumbing when I was a kid. I loved being there. My hat is off to you for your willingness , fortitude & determination which comes thru what you write.
Blu Crystl I'm smiling. Yes, I'm the 60's generation...that's my choice for music. I agree w/ you. And, I enjoy frugal green girl, too...she's wise beyond her years! She's been "preaching" (meant kindly) the frugal lifestyle since her 20's . Impressive for that generation. I'm double her age ...married in 1970 & had income at poverty level. .but so happy & did just fine on very little money. Fun talking w/ you. Wishing you a great life.
My family has done the unlimited pass to an amusement park close to us for several years now. It is also sold at a discount on Black Friday and makes a great Christmas gift! Happy summer, FGG!
Great ideas! I'm always optimistic going into summer, lots of ideas and plans, excited to make some of them happen! We'll definitely be hitting the library often. I try to encourage simple (free) pleasures, even just spreading out a blanket in the shade, and everyone bringing a book or magazine, cloud gazing, maybe a few popsicles (homemade or store bought). Heavenly! :)
I'm in Colorado too and there's so much to do! We camp like crazy and take hikes. We kayak and bike too. We live in the mountains and love to go on nature walks. Love summers!
I use to live in Dillon Valley Co. I was like 13 then. Lol. My cousins live in Denver still. I'd love to move back there. You have alot of good ideas for people to try, thank you 😊
