How to light Charcoal

I’ve been using brickets from the same shed when traveling in the van as I thought charcoal would smoke 🤦‍♂️ , I’ll be having a go next trip now. Thanks.

I am going to do a video on my experiences with briquettes one day soon. Yeah and I never went back after I tried charcoal and I used to buy 300 kilos of beads at a time when catering

As a beginner at camp oven cooking Ive found the charcoal very convenient, easy to use and easy to control the heat. 🙂👍

Will start using charcoal for cooking on by fire and then wood for the ambience afterwards. The smaller bag at the same price is called shrinkflation.

Have you ever tried the fatwood fire lighters? It is pine wood that has alot of the resin. Burns great, starts the fire better, I think. You can get it from the same shed and at about $14 for a bag it is not bad.

Your not wrong with the price and bag size of that brand of charcoal Ron, as the price goes up the bag size goes down

Yeah its gone up like 20 bucks in a couple of years. I am liking the newe bag size but the price didnt shrinkl proportionately lol
