The roads in this remote part of Tibet are better than what Indians call highways. In terms of specifications, this is only a county-level highway in China, not a provincial or municipal highway, let alone a highway. Recently, India's transport minister said that India's road mileage is the second largest in the world, only behind the United States, which we Chinese think is very funny. Is the road of the shoddy project in India a road?

@@T.james_59hat does Tibet have to do with you Indians? Still want to be beaten by China like in 1962? The disastrous defeat in 1962 made India, a world power, lose face. Nehru claimed to be the leader of developing countries. As a result, he could only ask Britain, the suzerain, for help. He even asked the world giant at that time, the United States and the Soviet Union, for military intervention in the Sino-Indian war. Indians are so pathetic. You still fantasize that you are an world power every day. To tell you Indians a cruel reality, the income of Tibetans is much higher than that of Indians, ten times that of Indians. And fantasize that you can annex a place far richer than yourself? The Western Military Region of China will not agree.😂

Thank you for your natural, considerate and gentle interactions with the locals - this is a wonderful quality which will be characteristic of earth's new era of peace when we collectively get there. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us the unseen part of China. Wish I was younger, have the health and knee strength to visit these remote areas. Your government has been thoughtful and considerate into providing assistance for living in a harsh environment. Not many countries do that. Was surprised that most families have a car. They are not old rusty cars.

They do for Mongolians, and Uyghurs among all the other ethnic minorities along the border regions. It's rough in the border areas, and it incentivizes them to stay and develop their regions, build businesses to support the region, and help protect the borders from other countries that may encroach it.

They all inter-linked if you study history. They yunnan-sichuan-Tibet were linked by the old tea horse route. Everybody drinks tea in the region, and many of them wearing silver on their tradition dresses. The tea business generated tremendous amount of wealth. The northern nomadics were linked by silk, look at their silky tradition dresses. In the old days, those products were the currency for almost a millennium. The Han region was the central bank. On top of there is the religion, tibetan buddhism were used to rule all the nomadics in China. Xinjiang was oriat mongolia, it was attached the latest.
