if i were to change revenge it would be hidden from the enemy so they don’t just stop attacking all together when you have a sliver left. I would also make it so revenge is an aoe thing with a very slow build up that is multiplied when there are more enemies around you(possibly when they’re just locked onto you) and adjusted for teammates nearby as well.

I would like an extended explanation of how to fight once you have revenge. I feel as though when i get it i still get kicked around. Like i am put into constant hit recovery by bashes and attacks. where when i fight someone who has revenge my bashes do nothing and sometimes my heavy will put them into hit recovery. I think it has to do when they are in neutral but I'm not %100 on that as when i have revenge i could be in a combo and still get bashed. Thank you for your videos.
BASSICALLY: when your teammate hits the enemy, the 1v2 is changed to a 2v2. Therefore the fight is even. ALSO: if the second enemy stops attacking and you and your teammate keep fight one person, it will be changed to a 2v1. Giving the enemy revenge.
@@mateuszolejniczak645so basically if you’re in a 1v2 and getting ganked you will earn revenge as long as they are both attacking you within the time frame of the tag being place on you(basically telling the game hey I’m being double teamed). If a teammate comes and hits one of the enemies out of the two who are ganking you it takes away the tag since he hit the enemy it turns into a 2v2. therefore there are no more tags saying you are being ganked so no more revenge Now if it’s still a 2v2 but you and your teammate hit the same enemy the enemy will get a tag saying he’s getting ganked there is a few seconds were if you hit him after the tag has been put on the enemy he will receive some revenge so the best way to counteract is if you ganking you will have to wait a few seconds after your teammate attacked to not fill the revenge meter It also works the same way with you if you’re being ganked I hope that helped more to clarify revenge but if it’s still confusing I can try and explain it more

All of this would make sense, but I’ve seen 3v1 ganks where the enemy team just spams unfeinted heavies and bashes, still get parried, and all of it last for about 20 to 30 seconds while the revenge meter either never goes up or barely goes up. Revenge is a broken mess and only really applies when you aren’t fighting people who, unsurprisingly in a crossplay game, cheat. I don’t think I’ve fought over 20 Microsoft players on this game entirely who’ve actually fed revenge while ganking, then a Sony player shows up and it miraculously starts showing up.
What I hate the most about revenge,it's that it does not force the opponent to stay nearby. They can run away,if not just back walk because some character straight doesn't have roll catcher. Also, please. Ubi. Nerf flinching in the game. The whole '3rd attack have reduced damages doesn't mean crap when you eat 4th,5th,6th, and a feat to the face. Also, please rebalance how bleed works. It should give revenge, it is a form of damage that can even remove a player

I've basically already accepted it as something you'll never get in spite of parrying everything, your opponents ganking poorly and getting bashed millions of times, it'll never come, while just a mere cough gives everyone else revenge in spades. Nothing about this makes any sense, I was in a match 2v1ing a shinobi, team mate dies and 2 more enemies come, shinobi randomly gets revenge when I kick one of his teammates, doesn’t make any sense, and then I’m 4v1ing theyre all hitting me, not even half revenge before I die
very helpful my friend was always complaining about why he didn't get revenge and its cause he keeps trying to roll peel when a teammate arrives and as stated that doesn't let him get revenge when caught and if the teammate attacks the ganker
Revenge may be working as intended, but the way it fits into gameplay is just busted. At best it punishes less skilled players for attacking recklessly more than it rewards skilled players for defending skillfully, and at worst it does absolutely nothing to help with the parts of a gank that are the most difficult to manage. I’m willing to bet part of why most players aren’t especially concerned about feeding revenge is that they know it is still incredibly easy for most of those precious 8 seconds to be spent getting thrown into a wall/off a ledge, stuck in parry animations/ripostes, pinned by the same moves that just gave you revenge, stunlocked, or in gb whiff recovery because you have t rex arms.
I call revenge “funny yellow stuff” because all it does is make you yellow and fill you with a false sense of confidence while you proceed to be stun locked because you threw one finisher heavy. 🥲

Not sure how easy it would be to change but a solution to revenge could be instead of a tagging system, have the players you’re not locked onto always feed revenge then adjust revenge values to balance for the increased speed of revenge gain
While I understand the appeal with making the revenge meter hidden, it will only make the game more annoying at high level and unbearable for new players. It just needs some small buffs and tags don’t need to persist after death. Maybe making revenge completely gb/bash invincible until the end of a finisher. Or some damage buffs. Or maybe even increasing the lunge of attacks on revenge to counter rolling and running away. There’s quite a few options for Ubi to explore and experiment with. I just don’t understand why they haven’t already.
I havent played the game in month. (graphiccard died) So they changed revenge so that an teammate, by attacking one of your gankers, robs you of the ganked (=gain revenge-) status? Idk, sounds maybe a step in the right direction, but also very annoying under most circumstances.
Revenge Indicator should be hidden. It gives people who are ganking one opponent an advantage on an already 1 vs 2 or 1 vs 3, etc. The revenge indictor being hidden would cause more players to be cautious & punish whose who are being reckless in a gank.
The hyper casual players complained about this back in the day because this was actually something we already had before. Much like everything now in the game, they ruined it by being shitters and not adapting to it, and thus cried and made Ubisoft change it. Because why listen to the players who have been playing the game for years when they could listen to the hyper casual ones who bring in more money?
This one time i had on stealth and was about to help my buddy highlander, but noticed he only needed 1 more hit for full revenge and was around 40hp, so like a proud/nervous father, i stood around the corner for a sec to watch. He got the last tap for revenge, and i jumped in. But if i would have helped immediately when i got to him, he very likely would not have got revenge, and i would soon in be the same situation i found him in. "Oh look! A new fighter with no revenge!" They would have said I think he seen me hanging back at first. Not sure what he thought i was doing, but i hope he knows i neglected him so he could proceed to crush the skulls of his enemies
revenge atm is pretty horrible the fact you can get pinned or stumbled into the ground or stunned locked specially when fighting against a group makes it basically a worse version of Juggernaut , not only that but having to deal with the constant tagging from people and not getting an ounce of it because certain person stopped hitting you is horrible. you're better off using heavy perks and juggernaut with the characters that you can equip those with.
And thats not even taking into account that some people deliberately pick heroes to stunlock opponents. I figured out week 1 that Kyoshins spin attack would be strong in that regard but everyone was focused on his garbage hitdetection
5:00 why does the shield/revenge bug still exist? Am I right in assuming this is a bug? No way WL gets that big a shield from that one perk after his revenge ended.. Is it just visual? It always feels like it's a real shield edit: 7:15 Revenge shield bug... yeah that sounds about right. What a joke of a game for a BUG that OP to exist for so long, laughable, no other game by a AAA studio would let that type of shit go on for so long
To be fair revenge shield just delays the inevitable in most cases, most of the time if you are already that low on health you are getting mogged on by two better players in the first place, it just makes taking someone down more annoying.
Revenge needs a proximity build up, where if you are outnumbered you still gain revenge meter even if they dont attack. although the build you'll get wouldn't be as big as getting ganked normally. Edit: yesterday I got a revenge meter to 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% full. 🐗
It's been long time since I think revenge metter was one of The worst things ubi made ...this made the game not funny anymore. Every fight has become bored as hell
I have had cases where the blinking is gone and then my friend or I hit the enemy and pop goes the revenge. Since we know how it is supposed to work but pretty sure sometimes you have ping fuck ups and delays that will kick your shin just for the hell of it
Revenge definitely needs a buff, I'm surprised that after 7 years I realized that theirs no damage reduction on when you get revenge, I always thought there was. In my opinion revenge needs to be longer, have a 50% damage reduction, maybe a slight damage buff, and should last longer. I'm not sure what else they could do with revenge that's just my thoughts though.
Considering I had an orochi with revenge do a top heavy finisher for 58 damage (though I did have warden's renown feat that weakens you a bit) I'd say it does but I'm not sure
50% is way, WAY too fucking much. That's literally the opposite extreme of what Revenge is now, where it would go from useless to straight up OP as hell. Do you even realise what that would do to characters like Heavies, who already get 10-50% damage reduction when they reach like 20-30 health? It'd make it impossible to kill them more than they already are like JJ or BP. 30% is already stretching it, it would need to be something like 20/25% where it gives you a decent survivability boost but it doesn't turn you into a damn tank who just shrugs off damage like your a God or something.
@@robertsteiner469620 percent damage reduction with the shield is fair imo. Along with a bit of a damage buff but you for sure need to be fully un-interruptible.
@@zaiakiryakoz2112 lb (already cracked health) can get his damage reduction up to 50% already and also get shield for each revenge given to him, you want to add 20% to that?
I wouldn't be surprised if he boosts his lobbies for gameplay tbh. The people he plays are ACTUAL infants and always make beginner mistakes in the worst way possible, it just makes no sense how he still plays with such bad players after this many years otherwise.

Fun fact: a lot of people dont like faraam in their team because hes a terrible team mate. His skill is being a content creater and do flashy plays in gank situation, watch him stream and youll see he gets folded for running into 2v1 like everyone else in high elo lobbies most of the time.
Getting revenge against competent players just means you get to live a couple extra seconds, because you easily get GB, bashed or parried, it's especially bad against characters like Warmonger that take you for a ride from a heavy parry.
I honestly feel like in revenge characters need to have displacement immunity. The fact Warmonger can just make you waste almost all of your revenge meter from a simple heavy parry is fucking baffling and shows how badly Revenge needs reworked. But it never will be, because the current FH devs are incompetent as fuck.
One MUST change imo: while in revenge, a character should not have a GB or bush vulnarability, unless they are finishing a chain. It frustrates me beyond believe when a competent player cathes me with a GB mid-chain, effectively nullifying my entire antigank. And I can't do ANYTHING about it. Second one: I think it's beter to extend 5 seconds tag to 10 seconds, rather then extending the revenge duration. Or maybe even making a tag permanent until second opponent leaves or you get your revenge. This will basically remove babysitting (or make it a one time action) and will give more advantage to anti-ganker (as it should, because now the balance is shifted towards gankers).
I miss the old revenge bar, was so much easier to see and how much revenge u had. Revenge does need a buff, last longer, rework the values of how much revenge is fed.
They need to hide enemies revenge bar like how it USE to be. If players want to gank, Then they should deal with the consequences. All people do is feed until bar is 99 then stop attacking all together. This is the most frustrating change to the game that needs to be removed. Babysitting is ridiculous.
4:45 them we are not playing the same game, almost every session i play with my friends are that dudes that ever kill u without give u revenge couse they do the most perfect gank in the game and u have 0 counter play and im sure that all of us know what im talking about. great video for a next one discussing hit confirms would be nice. I feel like while its impossible to perfectly predict what your random teammates would do, it is possible to figure out something to help opening up people when ganking, even with room temperature iq teammates. And from what I witness in my lobbies, most people don't even know about confirms. also maybe a frame advantage vid ? the terms is thrown around all the time but I see people who are past 500+ rep and clearly don't know about it.
Yeah by showing the revenge bar it's drastically changed the gameplay, before people would actually play the game like it was meant to and weigh if they should attack or not, now it's just a predictable slog where even if you get ganked people who know how revenge works do maximum damage while feeding as minimum revenge as possible with dumb and broken characters like JJ. It's literally one of the biggest mistakes this game has ever made design wise and the devs were really, really dumb to let everyone see your revenge meter because it's just lead to people being sweatlords to the extreme even more than before. It's weird how no one talks about it even though it is literally one of the most detrimental changes they've made over the years to the game.

So what I've learnt is, if you're on my team... You get no revenge because balance. But if you're on the enemy team you get it from staring at us? Gotcha
Also if your fighting nobushi in a gank the bleeding will most likely kill you after revenge since youve been stabbed 30 times by her and the beloved bleeding effect is stacking up like crazy.
I've been playing for honor for 3 years, not consecutively, and every time I was destroyed in 1vs3 I always asked myself "where's the fucking revenge?", not anymore. Thank you
My main problem with getting ganked, besides how effective babysitting is, is how disgustingly powerful some gank tools are. These gank tools include and are not limited to, sickle reign, Kaze chains, Ocelot’s pin, etc. the reason these tools are so powerful and, quite frankly, broken is because they don’t trigger damage negation which you usually get for being hit by two people at once and they hold you in place. Usually, the first attack will hit for full damage and the second will do extremely reduced damage but in the case of the gank tools, this damage negation is nowhere present so you will take full damage from every attack you are hit by.
I think the worst change they ever made in the game was that your enemies can see your revenge bar because now it’s gank till you get just before you get revenge then they just stop it’s stupid
I’ve had situations where a fight ends, I step in to fight the last enemy and I trigger their revenge. And I’ve definitely given revenge to an enemy on 1v2’s. I just want to know where I can enable revenge in the settings
To be honest: Revenge needs a big buff IMO. It either needs passive buildup when outnumbered, or revenge gain when attacking while outnumbered. You also shouldn’t be able to be CC’d in revenge, period. Ganking is too effective in this game, especially when people optimally gank. Revenge needs another way to be obtained outside of just being hit, because when people gank optimally, you will either get 100-0’d or be very low by the time you actually get revenge. I’m saying this from the perspective of a very competitive player. So feel free to slander me and completely ignore my opinion.
The Revenge system just sucks right now, it essentially encourages the enemy turtling you with multiple people, until they can attack again with no consequence. And then sometimes, revenge just does not build at all even while getting attack by 3 people at once. There's a lot of things I would change about FH, how some heroes work, how revenge works, how Ganks and 4's work, and ESPECIALLY how classes SHOULD work.
This I would agree with besides in a 1v4 I’ve been tagged by all of my enemies and they are throwing random heavys even bashes my revenge goes to 99% and just stops I parry like 3 attacks my revenge bar still hasn’t done anything my team are on b and a dhnshssj
Revenge shouldn't be a fucking tease, why does my revenge stall at 60% and stays at 99%. I parry 3/4 of my opponent and my revenge is 80% then I get bashed by the fourth and it goes to 99% and then I get two v 1ed again and I either get it as I'm about to die or not at all. They need to make a revenge attack mechanic where if your almost close to 100% like 80% your first follow up attack folks your revenge up.
No disrespect but im just not buying this shit as we speak my friend just got hit by all four players definitely within 5 seconds and not a lick of revenge. Whatever it is its just nkt clear and us broken af

i would like a "How to feint video next" bcs i cant win 80% of my duels because of me not feinting heavies so i get parried and lose fights

They need to make it to where Revenge cancels any and all animations once activated.

Gotta love that if you get revenge while a shield is on you, the revenge shield gets reapplied🤌🤌🤌

5:00 why does the shield/revenge bug still exist? Am I right in assuming this is a bug? No way WL gets that big a shield from that one perk after his revenge ended.. Is it just visual? It always feels like it's a real shield

To be fair revenge shield just delays the inevitable in most cases, most of the time if you are already that low on health you are getting mogged on by two better players in the first place, it just makes taking someone down more annoying.

Revenge needs a proximity build up, where if you are outnumbered you still gain revenge meter even if they dont attack. although the build you'll get wouldn't be as big as getting ganked normally.

I have had cases where the blinking is gone and then my friend or I hit the enemy and pop goes the revenge. Since we know how it is supposed to work but pretty sure sometimes you have ping fuck ups and delays that will kick your shin just for the hell of it

Revenge definitely needs a buff, I'm surprised that after 7 years I realized that theirs no damage reduction on when you get revenge, I always thought there was. In my opinion revenge needs to be longer, have a 50% damage reduction, maybe a slight damage buff, and should last longer. I'm not sure what else they could do with revenge that's just my thoughts though.
Considering I had an orochi with revenge do a top heavy finisher for 58 damage (though I did have warden's renown feat that weakens you a bit) I'd say it does but I'm not sure
50% is way, WAY too fucking much. That's literally the opposite extreme of what Revenge is now, where it would go from useless to straight up OP as hell. Do you even realise what that would do to characters like Heavies, who already get 10-50% damage reduction when they reach like 20-30 health? It'd make it impossible to kill them more than they already are like JJ or BP. 30% is already stretching it, it would need to be something like 20/25% where it gives you a decent survivability boost but it doesn't turn you into a damn tank who just shrugs off damage like your a God or something.

Fun fact: a lot of people dont like faraam in their team because hes a terrible team mate. His skill is being a content creater and do flashy plays in gank situation, watch him stream and youll see he gets folded for running into 2v1 like everyone else in high elo lobbies most of the time.
Getting revenge against competent players just means you get to live a couple extra seconds, because you easily get GB, bashed or parried, it's especially bad against characters like Warmonger that take you for a ride from a heavy parry.
I honestly feel like in revenge characters need to have displacement immunity. The fact Warmonger can just make you waste almost all of your revenge meter from a simple heavy parry is fucking baffling and shows how badly Revenge needs reworked. But it never will be, because the current FH devs are incompetent as fuck.
Same deal with JJ's heavy parry punish. Wastes so much time.
One MUST change imo: while in revenge, a character should not have a GB or bush vulnarability, unless they are finishing a chain. It frustrates me beyond believe when a competent player cathes me with a GB mid-chain, effectively nullifying my entire antigank. And I can't do ANYTHING about it.
Second one: I think it's beter to extend 5 seconds tag to 10 seconds, rather then extending the revenge duration. Or maybe even making a tag permanent until second opponent leaves or you get your revenge. This will basically remove babysitting (or make it a one time action) and will give more advantage to anti-ganker (as it should, because now the balance is shifted towards gankers).
Yeah being uninterruptible would really help specially with how weak revenge is

I miss the old revenge bar, was so much easier to see and how much revenge u had. Revenge does need a buff, last longer, rework the values of how much revenge is fed.
They need to hide enemies revenge bar like how it USE to be. If players want to gank, Then they should deal with the consequences. All people do is feed until bar is 99 then stop attacking all together. This is the most frustrating change to the game that needs to be removed. Babysitting is ridiculous.

I feel like while its impossible to perfectly predict what your random teammates would do, it is possible to figure out something to help opening up people when ganking, even with room temperature iq teammates. And from what I witness in my lobbies, most people don't even know about confirms.

Sure miss the days when revenge was somewhat decent and hidden now it's just non existent.
Yeah by showing the revenge bar it's drastically changed the gameplay, before people would actually play the game like it was meant to and weigh if they should attack or not, now it's just a predictable slog where even if you get ganked people who know how revenge works do maximum damage while feeding as minimum revenge as possible with dumb and broken characters like JJ. It's literally one of the biggest mistakes this game has ever made design wise and the devs were really, really dumb to let everyone see your revenge meter because it's just lead to people being sweatlords to the extreme even more than before. It's weird how no one talks about it even though it is literally one of the most detrimental changes they've made over the years to the game.

My main problem with getting ganked, besides how effective babysitting is, is how disgustingly powerful some gank tools are. These gank tools include and are not limited to, sickle reign, Kaze chains, Ocelot’s pin, etc. the reason these tools are so powerful and, quite frankly, broken is because they don’t trigger damage negation which you usually get for being hit by two people at once and they hold you in place. Usually, the first attack will hit for full damage and the second will do extremely reduced damage but in the case of the gank tools, this damage negation is nowhere present so you will take full damage from every attack you are hit by.

I think the worst change they ever made in the game was that your enemies can see your revenge bar because now it’s gank till you get just before you get revenge then they just stop it’s stupid
I’ve had situations where a fight ends, I step in to fight the last enemy and I trigger their revenge. And I’ve definitely given revenge to an enemy on 1v2’s.

To be honest:
Revenge needs a big buff IMO. It either needs passive buildup when outnumbered, or revenge gain when attacking while outnumbered. You also shouldn’t be able to be CC’d in revenge, period.
Ganking is too effective in this game, especially when people optimally gank. Revenge needs another way to be obtained outside of just being hit, because when people gank optimally, you will either get 100-0’d or be very low by the time you actually get revenge.
I’m saying this from the perspective of a very competitive player. So feel free to slander me and completely ignore my opinion.
I would love to ask the devs WHY they even have Revenge at that point. If I eat 100+ damage before getting it what is the point?
The Revenge system just sucks right now, it essentially encourages the enemy turtling you with multiple people, until they can attack again with no consequence. And then sometimes, revenge just does not build at all even while getting attack by 3 people at once.
There's a lot of things I would change about FH, how some heroes work, how revenge works, how Ganks and 4's work, and ESPECIALLY how classes SHOULD work.

Revenge shouldn't be a fucking tease, why does my revenge stall at 60% and stays at 99%. I parry 3/4 of my opponent and my revenge is 80% then I get bashed by the fourth and it goes to 99% and then I get two v 1ed again and I either get it as I'm about to die or not at all. They need to make a revenge attack mechanic where if your almost close to 100% like 80% your first follow up attack folks your revenge up.
