I was talking to a student of mine yesterday about it! People really don't know the meaning of the Holidays anymore, it's all about gifts, status on social networks and that's all. But for me is more like to be with the ones you love, have a good time and be happy, however, this has to be in the rest of the years as well! Go Finland

I have 3 sisters, they send friendship day cards. I also get friendship day cards from them (I'm not a cards sending type myself). So yeah, you can send them anyone you care a lot. BUT it could be romantic feelings too, if you are usually not close with that person, but decided to send the card anyway. But yeah, that's not the reason why people usually send friendship day greetings.
So you become not sick of valentines, becaus you get to the sence of it, and now we are ready to get involvend in some loving corespondetion? mm, id love it, if its possible. Valentine, come to m dreams at night, what you dream is what it becomes true..hehe
It's interesting to hear the Finnish view point on Valentine's day. Never knew that Finland viewed it as a friendship Day, much better idea.
