fr though they need to give us the uncompressed music, shoji's music is way too good to leave in such a state. I hope they port the remaster to the PC like P4G if they dont fix it that way we can just mod in the uncompressed OST. oh yeah btw your channel is fucking awesome dude keep up the good work.

some guy just a soundtrack mod would make this game leagues better for me, I listened to a lot of the soundtrack before playing it on ps2 which ruined the experience to a degree, literally all they would have to do is uncompress it and I’d buy this lol

Nearly all demon's voices are re-recorded in this video probably because some of them have actual spoken lines in the HD Remaster. While not exactly easily discerned, Matador's generic battle voices are likely updated for this reason. 0:22 "Are you ready" is definitely new; 3:15 Lachesis no longer sounds like an old hag.

Shikome’s original voice was definitely a lot creepier 😂 not sure if it’s a good or bad thing that they changed that
While I'm as iffy about the compressed music as everyone else, I'm just glad it's getting ported to begin with.

易しい難易度もあるのでペルソナ派の人達にもぜひプレイしてもらいたいですね。

Those beautiful demon designs by Kaneko and that amazing soundtrack by Meguro which is still one of his best to date. I can't wait to experience this gem all over again and I'm glad many more people will now get the chance to experience what I consider to be the best JRPG too. Please give us an uncompressed soundtrack in the remaster.

自分が一番好きなRPGのリマスターだから凄く嬉しい。この調子でアバチュリマスターやライドウの続編もよろしくお願いしますアトラスさん。
私がなぜ金子一馬氏の悪魔絵が大好きかと言うと、
その絵を見ていて、神話や伝承を踏まえた「神々しさ」や「禍々しさ」があるから。
一時期、盾の部分に顔がある四大天使が出てきたが
あれは奇を衒っただけで、「神々しさ」の欠片も感じなかった。
やっぱり金子一馬氏の悪魔絵なくして「真・女神転生」は語れない。
オレもメガテン4のキャラデザは受け付けませんでしたわ、牙狼の先生には悪いけど

まー３Dモデルであれば金子絵にこだわりすぎる必要もないし、旧デザインからの新規モデリングや微調整で金子の名前にこだわる必要もないでしょうけどね。
ペルソナもとっくに金子絵じゃないわけで（３のころは結構批判されてたけど）
PS2版もまだ持ってるけどリメイク版画質綺麗で魅力的だなぁ。何より現行ハードでできるのがお手軽でいい
この作品が自分の初めての女神転生シリーズになるだろうなー

You’d think they’d at least redo the audio to do away with the incredible compression
God yeah when it transitioned from the cathedral of shadows straight into the super poorly compressed normal battle theme it hurt my soul
i'm pretty sure there are versions of it that aren't compressed
I thought that was part of the charm...
The compression sucks but the problem with the OST version is that they are not exactly the same to the in game version, look in the normal battle theme how drums sound much powerful than in OST and of course that song has 7 solos if I'm not mistaken, while the OST version only has one. The only real solution would be look for the source audio files back in 2003 or literally re do the recordings which I think would ruin them in some way or another.

As someone who only played Persona 5, It was cool seeing how a lot of the Personas were originaly from this game. I'm looking forward to play it.
There really should've been an option to pick a decompressed soundtrack 😐. It's kinda weird to play a remaster with the old compressed audio. But I guess I should be happy we even get to have a remaster.
Não é como se eles não tivessem esse tipo de coisa guardada ne, toda empresa tem os arquivos pré compressão dos próprios games(o leak da nintendo provou isso com as fotos e audios do mario 64)
@@viniciusanjos4057 "toda empresa" é meio que exagero, mas eu duvido muito que a Atlus tenha perdido os arquivos do Nocturne, um dos maiores jogos deles na épca. E mesmo assim, se eles tivessem perdidos os arquivos, que colocassem as versões da trilha sonora. Elas não tem os riffs dinâmicos mas pelo menos não parecem que tão saindo de um rádio de 1950.
@@viniciusanjos4057 vc lembra dos "ports" de Persona 2 pro PSP? Neles tinha a opção pra escolher entre a trilha sonora original ou a nova. Provavelmente pq o povo reclamou de P1 forçar uma ost nova. É muito estranho Nocturne não ter essa opção quando seria só colocar áudio não comprimido e não incluir novas músicas. Entendo os nostalgistas, mas ouvir esse tipo de audio no headphone é meio foda 😕
@Emperor No caso do mario por mais que os audios tenham sido descomprimidos pelos fans as imagens foram leakadas já em alta definição direto servidor, meio nitpick mas se aplica da mesma forma em relação a como empresas mantem seus arquivos do msm modo.
E mesmo assim acho que se aplica ao msm caso do starfox que os audios originais sem compressão vieram do servidor mas na questão do mario n tenho ctz msm.

Oh right, I forgotten how small and mish-mashy the Demon Compedium of this game was. Suparna and Bahb Catha in the Beast Race, Valkyrie and Ganesha being seperated from the Yoma race, Garuda and Gurr are by themselves in the Avain and Raptor race, etc.
Kinda hoped they'd add a couple more demons to some of the races since they can pull the models form SMT NINE, Digital Devil Saga, Raidou, and Persona 3 and 4, but oh well.
To be fair, they didn't show EVERYONE in the SMT3 Compendium, so there's still the slight possibility they may yet add to the roster.
also its s a remaster not a remake, so everything will be the same I thinck, and that includes demons.

Has anyone considered that Atlus intentionally left the audio as is because that's how fans of the game remembered it? The distorted sounds is supposed to mimic you being controlled by the magatama.
I think the best they could do is what nintendo with Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, and give the option of playing the original quality or remastered quality audio.
Those who've comment the clear sounds from the demons, well they've always have been relatively clear.

I guess all battle themes that have different guitar solos will be compressed. (Town, Large map, Battle theme) While everything else will be uncompressed

スーファミ時代、友達のお兄ちゃんがプレイしてるのを見てた小学生時代が懐かしいです。子供ながらに怖かったwwペルソナから知り、メガテンは未プレイなのでとても楽しみです！！そしてBGMがかっこいい。新作の前に3プレイできるのがありがたすぎます✨

ダンジョンすごいかったるいからな。

基本的にメガテン系は孤独だってのと、
仲魔の合体が適当すぎると
ほんとに途中で詰むっていうのが
続けてもらえるかなって心配になります。
特にボス戦はカジャ系がかなり重要です。
こんなに補助魔法に重点置いたゲームってなかなかないです。
そこが初見殺しかもしれないです。
難易度優しいのがあるから大丈夫と思う

Starting from Persona 5, I never knew how many Demons that they pretty much just recycled throughout the SMT and Persona games...
I’m sure they add new ones here and there, but honestly I like that aspect of the series. It’s cool to see familiar faces, and they do redesign the demons sometimes. But you make a good point. I wonder why it is the way it is.
I hope the soundtrack will not be compressed in the actual release :/

At this point, I'd be more surprised if that audio wasn't compressed. I don't think they'd continue showing these trailers with the lower quality audio if they weren't gonna use it in the final game.
I'm in no way upset over that either, but there's no doubting that I was hoping to be able to hear all the battle song's guitar solos in high quality.
It's probably what they chose to sacrifice. Switch ports always have to sacrifice something to run on the lovely portable toaster

可能です。むしろそれが醍醐味です
合体繰り返してステータス強化して、無効化や吸収系などのスキルを持たせていれば終盤も活躍出来ますよ

ネコマタは作品ごとのデザインの方向性が違うものが、大きく3パターンくらいあるから、好みが人によって違いそうだけど、
世界観的にはこのネコマタが一番崩壊した後の世界には合いそう。

座天使なので天使の９階級、上から３番目ですよ。
ちなみに「ソロネ」は個体名ではなく階級名です。

I played this game long ago, but the way Atlus making this video suddenly remind me of Pokemon / Digimon
Fun fact: Atlus tecnicaly created the monster genere.
It would be absolutely AMAZING if this stunning remastered version could receive a Port to PC. There would be many more supporters and people who're appreciative of all this genre has to offer if you did so. Please, Atlus, if you could find it in your hearts to afford us this highest pleasantry, it would momentous. Not only for your organization, but also for the community whom deeply support you. Thank you for making such a wonderful array of games for us to enjoy!
I don't mind the audio being compressed, but I was hoping otherwise due to the fact that I wanna show this game to my friends. I worry that American gamers playing a Megami Tensei game for the first time (like my friends) won't play this game due to the compressed audio, because I feel that the majority of them are picky when it comes to graphical/audio fidelity. I'm like this too at times, but honestly I buy games on the Nintendo Switch that are "lower quality" versions of games I can buy on Steam/PC, so I'm not that picky about fidelity unless it REALLY ruins the experience (say frequent frame drops). In short, I have low standards for the common American gamer when it comes to them giving games like this a chance, especially when a certain part of a game is "low quality"
Rodrick Scorpion Recommend persona to them (preferably 5 but 3 and 4 also work) then after they play it show them this. That’s what I did with my friends and we’re all fans of both persona and smt

Looking sick. Hope this game does well. It's funny/interesting to see this sort of DarkSouls-esque elitist hype building around it like, "Hey Persona fans, you've only played baby shit, prepare yourself" - which is obviously kind of dumb but potentially could draw a lot of people in if that narrative spreads around enough. I'm super intrigued and excited anyway!
