I always wanted him to be a permanent late night talk show host. him and john stewart were the 2 people who I thought could complete head to head with letterman and leno.
Donny looks 45. All those jokes he endured from no sex before marriage to no drugs and drinking. Still married and looks amazing. He should be the one laughing now.
Wow! This is another great episode! Osmond is hilarious and has great comic timing. And Nealon has some great responses to Osmond. Great chemistry between these two.
Alex Wells Donny Osmond is underrated. He’s quite entertaining and a unique talent . It’s unfortunate that after all these years, he’s seen as a teen idol instead of the great song & dance man that he is .
Donny is amazing ! People who don't lie to God... "Till death do us part..." are "The Most Wonderful People, In This World" My parents met when they were in first grade, and they both, are still married. My dad's name is Columbus Wells, and I was born on the day Christopher Columbus discovered America... October 12 and at the time of my birth, my parents lived at : 1492 Violetta Lane, Corpus Christi, Texas Christopher Columbus discovered America October 12, 1492 and I'm the same age as Donny ! I never got married, nor ever had kids, cause I'm still patiently waiting... for my twin flame lover.
I totally agree! Donny Osmond was always a punchline in my household growing up in Utah. But he's actually way cooler than I thought. I love how they did both the snow shoeing and the strip.
This might sound weird:: But I’m just gonna put my heart on my sleeve and say - Donny Osmond is a national treasure. Funny, self deprecating, engaging, down to earth and KIND. He’s the embodiment of that old saying, “It’s nice to be important, but it’s far more important to be nice.” Donny Osmond. Love that guy! Great job Kevin.
In Sept of 2001 I was managing the 2002 Winter Olympics souvenir stores in the Salt Lake airport and Donny came up the escalator towards me. Although he was in a bit of a rush, he still stopped to take time out of his hectic schedule to chat with me. He's one of the nicest, kindest, funniest, most humble, down to earth celebs I've ever met. It was like talking to a friend I hadn't seen in a while. To say I was in awe is an understatement!
Very cool! I've also met him, TWICE. I went to see him at the State Fair (in 1974-75, I believe..?) In Pueblo, CO. I was in the front row and was crushed against the stage in a mad rush by fans. The security guys pulled me up brought me backstage to this medic station . I was back there with several people that were also injured. There was a girl there with a broken leg and I was sitting beside her comforting her and up walks Donny Osmond! He chatted with both of us and told us how sorry he was that we were hurt! He was so kind and down to Earth,, of course I'm blown away!! I ask to take his picture, and 3 times he smiled at me, I melted and failed to snap. I did however get a somewhat blurry 3/4 front profile pic of him as he turned away. LoL! ( You could definitely tell it was him.) I also ran into him at the tennis courts at the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas where he was performing. His tennis balls were going over into the grass, not knowing it was him I retrieved a few and brought them back to him. And about fainted dead away when I saw that it was Donny Osmond! LOL! My friend and I stole a tennis cart that night and we went zooming up and down the trails and then we wiped out into some rose bushes and were screaming. And guess who walks up to help us out of the rose bushes? You guessed it- Donny Osmond again LOL! He was a perfect gentleman- he didn't even tell on us!! He even autographed a tennis ball for me! I would give anything to find that picture of him and that tennis ball! LoL! I had a bad case of " Puppy Love" for sure!
Donny proves he has a great sense of humor..... what are your brother's names and he goes into naming the Jackson 5.... anyone growing up in the early 70's ... know's these were the two biggest family acts out there.....
What I like about Donny Osmond is that he’s not jaded or burnout. He actually still appreciates his incredible career and life. He has a big family and family means a lot to him. And he didn’t let Fame destroy him like it did to many others. He didn’t get into drugs or alcohol and destroy himself. I’m glad he’s still singing. Good for him!

For all he has gone through with not having a true childhood and the the crap the industry gave him he has emerged as a good person which is worth more than anything else. Blessings to you Donny
Saw an in depth interview cpl yrs back where he talked about his life and growing up in the industry, it was very raw. A few things he shared, and said were surprising.
OMG....The best interview ever!!!! Love it when somebody that popular for so long has a great sense of humor and doesn’t take himself that seriously! Kevin is hilarious as always and is probably as good as Howard Stern at getting people relaxed and opening up about a lot of things in their lives. This was the Bomb!!!!
Saw the Vegas show 2 weeks ago. Hands down the best show I will ever see. I took my 22yr old daughter and she even explained the show as "magical". It was an amazing experience for me. My daughter said it was amazing. She said she saw a glimpse into my childhood. That was the time she realized her mom was a teen at one point. Was an amazing experience for us as mother and daughter. The first 15 minutes I just cried. I could not believe that was really Donny. I never thought I would be in the same room with him. It was my 53rd birthday and we flew in for the night just for the show. My first time in Vegas and I only cared about seeing Donny. I love that I genuinely had a great idol growing up. Love him so much. So proud of him being married all this time and putting family first. Most people do not have that type of role model. I feel very fortunate. Thank you for that.
When I was in 8th grade, the Osmond's gave our school free tickets to see Donny in concert at the Angels Stadium. Us kids had never been to a concert before. It was incredible!! I thought it was very sweet of them to do that for us kids. We enjoyed ourselves. I was a huge fan of the Osmonds and the Jackson 5! ❤❤❤❤❤
Bev Greco Donny was on a TV show several months ago called The Masked Singer. There were celebrities wearing elaborate animal costumes with masks hiding their identities. They competed as singers on stage in front of celebrity judges who tried to guess their identities with clues given in videos and one during the show. Donny was the peacock, and the runner-up on the show.
That was one of your best hikes and best interviews ever. I wish it was twice as long. Donny Osmond... the nicest, most humble celebrity. I am glad he is still doing shows.
I wasn't a fan either until I saw him on a Great Performances episode in the title role of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Great show with a lot of stars. If you get a chance to see it, see it.
@@alanfriesen9837 he's incredible as Joseph, I have seen several productions and he's my favorite. But I am a little biased as I was totally in love with him as a young girl!!!! I even dated a guy who looked a bit like him, that was unintentional, but funny nonetheless.
Just like best friends hanging out. Donny has to once again go above and beyond to prove he is a a force in the entertainment industry. He will continue to sell audiences for years to come. The Peacock sang in a different voice to come in second, again above and beyond, legendary.
OK, so this is now my favorite hiking episode. I can't believe the Adam Sandler episode got dethroned by Donny Osmond! But it was perfect. More off trail antics please.
I love this episode! I was laughing so much and really enjoying the conversation and beautiful scenery. So nice to hear Donny Osmond and Kevin Nealon having a great day.
This is awesome! Donny remains a heart-throb! I love how he lights up when talking about Debbie. I also loves how he falls carefully to protect his good arm..:-)
This feels like one is in the snow with them, that is great, I miss it. And like being in Vegas backstage with Donnyn Osmond, an American legend to many but a wonderfull fun, caring guy. Kevin you can't top this episode.

Celebrities should line up to have Nealon interview them. If only there were more intelligent people out there!

Yes he is awesome...The perfect husband....Employed, he can sing, he can dance, he is faithful to his wife, he loves the Lord, still as handsome and cute as ever, very funny, and he can fix anything including the toilets... LOL
I am not ashamed to say I adore Donny Osmond. I had his poster and Tiger Beat all over my walls. I never got to see him in concert which is sad. Donny is still as sweet and wholesome as ever!
@@sophieoshaughnessy9469 Kind and Handsome...still. Man, did I adore him as a teenager. My only regret is that because I was so enamored by the Osmonds and Donny...that I missed out on appreciating Rock n Roll, POP and other genres that I embraced once I was an adult. I regret not having a more balanced experience.
@@APRIL916Heck yeah. I never missed a copy of Tiger Beat from 10 yrs old to 16. Like most young fans..I left Donny when he married his wife. So shallow of me I still enjoy seeing him in things today like that Hike Video or Broadway. Always watched the Donny & Marie Show as well. So...wholesome...TOO Wholesome...in retrospect. However...as a PRE-TEEN I also had Bobby Sherman on my walls first. "Julie Julie Julie...Do Ya Love Me? 1970. Did you know that Bobby Sherman walked away from his music career in the late 70's...and became a Sheriff Deputy in Los Angeles? Crazy huh? I also had David and Shaun Cassidy 45's and posters...along with Donny's. A big regret of mine is that I waited too long to mature enough to appreciate Queen, Eagles, Chicago and some of those other POP-ROCKERS...because of my LOVE-FEST with those Teen Idols. I also missed out on ELVIS and Freddy Mercury...and I really regret never seeing them in concert while alive. After my Teen Idols phase...I fell in love with a Latino who I married almost 40 yrs ago and am still with...and I switched to Spanish and Latin music. That was almost 40 yrs ago. Then we both switched to Modern Country halfway thru those decades. Now we listen to all Genres. I did finally catch up with the Rock n Rollers stuff ...once we married...'cause he was a fan too. Fun reminiscin'. thanks for the throwback. Awesome.
I still love Donny after all these years! He recently went to a fan's 60th birthday party and gave her the gift of tickets to see the Vegas show and backstage passes! That's why we love him!
Amazing video! Utah...With Donny Osmond!! 63 and still ❤️
Fantastic Kevin! Watching you guys bust your asses will make this one of the all time best episodes. What a fun hike. Thanks for inviting me! :)

correct!

we're supposed to hate Kev because he's another white man with a talk show... but i just can't.
I think this is the best interview with Donny Osmond that I have ever seen.
Donny is 61 and Kevin 65...guys you are truly an inspiration!

How much fun was this!!!!! I didn’t want it to end!!!! A lot of laughs🤣😂 such a down to earth guy!!!! You’re energized nonstop….. awesome interview!!!! Thanks guys for the laughs ❤️😙❤️
*This was really cool, Kevin!* *Getting to know celebrities this way is way much better than the usual studio-desk in front of an audience format.* 👍🤗 Very entertaining!
This is my second time watching this. Such a great interview ♥️
OMG! I still have a crush on Donny Osmond after all these years. He’s hilarious and can fix a toilet!
I know! Is he not like one of the nicest guys on the planet!
Yes he is awesome...The perfect husband....Employed, he can sing, he can dance, he is faithful to his wife, he loves the Lord, still as handsome and cute as ever, very funny, and he can fix anything including the toilets... LOL
He was so good on the Masked Singer.
This was a great interview! Thanks for letting us all hang out with you for a few minutes. it was great to see how you were both so relaxed and fun.
Thanks Kevin for the fun filled hikes!! Donny is awesome!
The Dancing with the Stars bragging. Love it!!!!
Great episode. Donny IS a Legend.
I am not ashamed to say I adore Donny Osmond. I had his poster and Tiger Beat all over my walls. I never got to see him in concert which is sad. Donny is still as sweet and wholesome as ever!
I totally thought I had a shot at being Mrs. Donny Osmond. Yeah right!
And our former heartthrob is funny! I think he sold his big teeth for a sense of humour
Tiger Beat was everything back in the day! Those fold out posters.... Omg 💞
Awesome.
Kevin, you just elevated your game! Creative, funny, inspired. Loved it. Thanks, Kev. This was a great one!
Melis Inspired 💙
This is still the best episode yet.
OK I'm experiencing puppy love right now. Thanks guys!!!
I still love Donny after all these years! He recently went to a fan's 60th birthday party and gave her the gift of tickets to see the Vegas show and backstage passes! That's why we love him!
This is my favorite one yet. So funny when they fell down, and I loved how they made it look like they hiked from Utah to Nevada. LOL
Love how Donny switches up the barbs thrown at him. Great sense of humour!
I loved this!! “What key are you in?” “C flat”.
“I hate these snow shoes!”
Kevin, this was such a huge treat! Thanks to Donny for joining in on the fun! I've run out of room for my "top 5 favorite" interviews here...
