I don't think that was ever his outlook, he just didn't want to be known strictly as Trevor, and would ignore anything GTA related for like a whole year. Which I guess now he's came round to the idea. I remember he did a pannel at either comicon or some convention in 2022 where he talked about GTA, this is the only thing since I believe.

Tbh, so long as it's relatively short DLC, following Michael, Franklin, and Trevor's story would've been awesome. Trevor's would probably be the darkest as he goes on a journey to pick up the broken pieces of his soul.
