Oh, how I love these older resorts. They feed my soul. The newer resorts are all u-shaped, and lack the lovely curves and rock sculptures in their landscaping. One thing I always enjoy is trading books, if they have a little book exchange. I am newly retired, so if I see a deal on this resort, I can go at any time! It looks wonderful!

Love Cayo Santa Maria beaches and resorts, stayed at Playa last March and friends were at Royalton and loved it. Nothing better than Beach, sun and cervezas!

Congrats man! 10k is a huge milestone. Next time you're in Varadero and get a chance check out Brisas del caribe. Its older but the beach is amazing just like the staff. Definitely not a high end resort but the beach makes up for it
Actually for some reason the way the water currents pass Cuba 🇨🇺, the island typically avoids Sargassum, It would probably devastate Cuba Tourism Even More..
