  • Not been out for a little while, so today I was able to go out and film something. We had a heritage convoy to go for with 37425, 26007 and 20066. The convoy was heading from Leeds Balm Road - Crewe Holding Sidings. Here, they'll stay overnight before heading on to East Lancashire Railway tomorrow for their Summer Diesel Gala.
This move was filmed at Queensville curve in Stafford, before the convoy showed up this video has some footage of a pair of Avanti West Coast Class 805s, these have now started to enter service. We then see the convoy, this had been booked for the fast line but instead was on the slow line.
37425 is now owned by Harry Needle Railroad Company, the nameplates have already been removed, I suspect that this will carry HNRC livery in the future. 20066 is also owned by HNRC, and has only very recently been returned to service, this will be its first visit to a heritage line since return to service.
