The Final Fantasy Legend Speedrun (Any% No Saw Skill) -

The Final Fantasy Legend played on Super Game Boy 2, North American SNES console (modded for component video output), and OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from character control to the start of Creator's death animation.
"No Saw Skill" means that the Saw monster ability (a likely bugged skill that instantly kills monsters/bosses stronger than the user) is not used.
A very unexpected PB that came during a derust session - a bit disappointed in my execution during the 1st half of the run; but I got all non-guaranteed meat drops 1st try, and the luck I got with encounters/flees in the 2nd half was ridiculously good.

I remember playing Legend III as a kid but never beating it. The transformation mechanic confused me real good.

When it says no saw skill does that mean only no monsters with it or can't use the weapon too? I guess I will find out now!

'No Saw Skill' applies to both the monster Saw ability and the Saw weapon for humans.
